This year's Outstanding Supporting Actor nominees are from three of the four soaps -- The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, and General Hospital. GH and Y&R each boasted two nominees in this category. But no matter which soap these young stars call home, they are all equally excited to be nominated for daytime television's biggest honor: a Daytime Emmy.

In an Instagram story, Bryton James posted a graphic showing all of The Young and the Restless' nominations along with the caption "Couldn't be more proud to be a part of this family."
James is a two-time Daytime Emmy winner. He picked up the Outstanding Younger Actor crown in 2007. In 2020, he added a second trophy to his mantel with an Outstanding Supporting Actor win.
While Jeff Kober has not made any public comment about his nomination, the actor did repost Soap Central's Emmy nominations graphic. It is the only Emmy-related post that he has made.
Aaron D. Spears has appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful off and on since 2009. In fact, Soap Central was the first outlet to talk to Spears on the Red Carpet at the 2009 Daytime Emmys -- and he even made our Best Dressed list.
Fast-forward thirteen years, and Spears is once again talking to Soap Central -- this time as a first-time Daytime Emmy nominee. "I've been in this game for so long, and I have been blessed to be around a lot of Emmy nominees and winners on this show, so I've had the chance to feel what it's like through other people's eyes," Spears said. "But for me, now, it's kind of surreal!"

James Patrick Stuart has not yet taken to social media to comment on his Daytime Emmy nomination. This is the actor's third consecutive nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actor field.
Jordi Vilasuso, who exited his role as The Young and the Restless' Rey Rosales last month, took to social media to celebrate his nomination. Vilasuso called it "a proper send off for Rey," adding that he was "[h]onored to be nominated with this great group of actors."
Vilasuso already has one Daytime Emmy win. In 2003, he earned the Outstanding Younger Actor trophy for his work as Tony Santos on Guiding Light.
