John assumes that Sonia was in some way responsible for Antonio being yanked away by the Feds. Tico tells Jessica that Antonio killed Angelina, which she absolutely refuses to believe. Antonio heads to the loft to retrieve a number as he and Sonia continue with their quest to figure out the true identity of El Tiburon.
When Antonio goes to the loft he has an encounter with Jessica that goes very badly. Off her run in with Antonio, Jessica agrees to go to the charity ball with Tico. Denise tells Antonio of a man named Tomas that will lead him to El Tiburon.
Dorian, David and Kelly are curious when they see Kevin with Dawes, his former political adversary. Bo, Renee and Kevin are concerned about Asa, who is still missing. Meanwhile, Asa is wandering lost in the woods and, after a mishap with a snake, falls into a gorge near the quarry.
With Sonia's urging, Eduardo clears Antonio's name in Angelina's murder. John knows that Sonia is hiding something and will stop at nothing to find out what it is. Antonio and Sonia share a kiss but Antonio pulls away before it goes too far.
Tico carefully orchestrates it so that Jessica finds Antonio and Sonia together in a compromising position. Heartbroken by what she sees, Jessica drops her engagement ring and leaves. She and Natalie later reach out each other for comfort and decide to move back into Llanfair.
While studying at the cottage, Jen and Julie have a supernatural encounter. Paul attempts to guilt Natalie into revealing something about Kevin that he can use to get money from him. Seeing Rex and Paul together has Shannon suspicious that they're up to no good.
Marcie is happy after having lunch with her brother and his boyfriend. Michael even seems more accepting of the upcoming marriage, but warns Marcie not to be too optimistic that Ron and her father will change their minds. Mark gives Marcie a letter from his author friend. He spoke to his editor about Marcie's book and suggests she send in her manuscript.
Antonio and Sonia put out the word that Antonio is planning to take his dead father's place as head of the Santi family in order to flush out the true identity of "el Tiberon." Antonio sneaks into Lionsheart and finds a briefcase that looks like the one the bearer bonds were transported in. Antonio is certain that Tico is "el Tiberon" and warns Adriana to be careful of him when he runs into her in Angel Square. Later, Sonia gets a call that Benecio wants to meet Antonio in Angel Square.
John becomes convinced that Sonia is working for the Feds when his contact at the FBI is suddenly transferred to London with no warning. He confronts her at the hotel room and warns her that if she puts Antonio in danger, she will have to answer to him and Bo.
Duke convinces Adriana to go with him to the Gala that evening. He, Adriana and Addie go to the quarry to have a picnic. Addie wanders off to pick flowers and finds Asa, who has somehow fallen into a deep hole. He asks her for help, but she calls him a monster for everything he's done to Blair. She does go back and tell Adriana and Duke that she needs to get a ladder and a "bow" to save the monster, but they don't understand what she is talking about. Later, Rex finds Asa in the hole and agrees to help him, for a price.
After meeting with Antonio and Sonia, Tomas tells Tico that Antonio is pressuring him to arrange a meeting with El Tiburon.
Carlotta pleads with Antonio not to turns his back on everyone who loves him, but he walks away from her. When he again breaks into Lion's Heart, Antonio is knocked out by Tomas.
Rex and Shannon help Asa out of the ditch and back home, where he vows revenge on Todd and Blair. Meanwhile, Todd realizes that Addie saw Asa in the gorge. Duke escorts Adriana to the gala and they get closer.
David and Dorian convince Kelly that it would be good for her to get out and go to the charity gala. Kelly calls Ace's nanny and arranges a secret meeting so she can see him. Tico feels triumphant knowing that he has Kevin right where he wants him.
When Antonio regains consciousness, he's tied to a chair in a warehouse and being watched by Tomas. He gets a call from El Tiburon, unaware that the electronically altered voice is Tico. He orders Antonio to kill someone to prove that he is serious about wanting to rule the Santi organization.
Todd resorts to locking Asa in a closet to prevent him from calling the cops on him. Roxy and Nigel later come to Asa's rescue and free him. Still fired up over what Todd and Blair did to him, Asa heads to the gala with his gun!
Kelly finds Babe with Ace at the diner, but Babe doesn't mention a thing about suspecting that Ace is her son. After David comforts Kelly when she says a tearful good-bye to Ace, she thanks him with a kiss. Meanwhile at the gala, Jessica and Tico share a romantic dance.
