In the gatehouse at the Quartermaine estate, Michael and Willow asked for Carly's blessing for the two to be married the following day. Carly gave her blessing, and she playfully insisted that Willow assign her a task for the wedding.
Willow asked to speak with Carly in private, and Michael and Josslyn stepped outside. Josslyn told Michael that Sonny had known about her and Dex for months. Josslyn added that Sonny was using his connections to help find Liesl. Michael recalled that Sonny had phoned him earlier in the day, and he added that Sonny had sounded like the man Michael claimed Sonny had once been.
Inside the gatehouse, Willow asked Carly to help negotiate peace between Michael and Sonny. Willow said she didn't want Avery, Donna, Wylie, and Amelia to feel forced to choose sides between Sonny and Michael. Carly promised to do her best to broker peace between the two men. Before Carly and Josslyn left, Carly vowed to make Michael and Willow's wedding everything the couple wanted it to be.
At the hospital, Robert confronted Sonny for having hired Diane to represent the man who had tried to kill Lucy at the Nurses Ball. Sonny and Robert argued before Nina appeared. Robert walked away.
Nina asked Sonny if Liesl was any closer to being found, and she said she wanted to help Sonny. Sonny encouraged Nina to save her energy for Willow. Nina said that she didn't need to be shielded from Sonny's line of work. Nina added that she only wanted Sonny, and they kissed. Sonny vowed to do whatever it took to find Liesl.
Nearby, Robert and Diane drank Earl Grey tea, and they discussed the ethics of representing men like Sonny. Diane said that Robert had bent the law for people he cared about, and she claimed that she and Robert were "equals." Diane reminded Robert that he had promised to take her to dinner sometime. Robert proposed that they have dinner that night, and Diane eventually agreed.
At the Port Charles Police Station, four members of the Civilian Complaint Review Board filed in to consider Chase's reinstatement to the police force. Blaze appeared, and she testified that Chase had stood up for her and made her feel "safe, protected, and respected" from Linc's constant harassment. "Isn't that what a cop is supposed to do? To serve and protect?" Blaze asked.
The committee thanked Blaze for her testimony. Brook Lynn asked to speak on Chase's behalf. Brook Lynn said that Chase's only problem was that he cared too much, and she gave an impassioned plea for Chase to be reinstated.
Afterwards, a member of the panel asked if Chase had anything to add. Chase said that he would always be grateful for the opportunity to serve Port Charles -- regardless of the panel's decision. The committee adjourned to consider their decision. Afterwards, Chase thanked Blaze for her testimony, and the two hugged.
Chase then thanked Brook Lynn for her testimony. The panel returned, and one of the panelists said that the board had made its decision.
In Alexis' office at the Invader, Gregory mentioned that the biggest story in town was that Victor had kidnapped several people, including Spencer and Ace. Gregory said that he had gone to visit Alexis to offer her his "help," since the Cassadines were Alexis' family.
Alexis recalled that she and Gregory had argued the last time they had met. Alexis surmised that Gregory had missed her, and she admitted that she had missed him, too. Gregory apologized for having lashed out as Alexis earlier. Alexis asked how she would be able to help Gregory if she didn't know more about his illness. Gregory demurred, and Alexis agreed to drop the subject.
Later, Alexis asked Gregory to promise that he would tell her if his condition worsened. Alexis reached for papers to hand to Gregory to proofread. As Alexis started to hand the papers over, Gregory collapsed onto the floor.
On an island off the coast of Venezuela, Felicia was thrilled when Holly appeared in Felicia's hotel room, disguised as a maid. Felicia said that she had gone to Caracas to catch a boat to meet with Holly.
Holly revealed that she had received a tip that Ethan was being held somewhere on the island. Felicia thought the tip was "convenient." Holly said that she'd had no choice but to follow the tip because Ethan was her son.
Later, Felicia and Holly appeared in an elegant room that Holly said was part of an exclusive club that Victor belonged to. A bald man in a tuxedo appeared, and he said the club was closed due to a private auction to be held virtually.
Felicia said that she and Holly represented clients who insisted that the women bid in person. Felicia slipped something to the bald man, who told the ladies to take a seat. The bald man said the auction would start shortly, and he turned to a pair of guards nearby. "Bring the item up. And remember Mr. Cassadine's instructions: handle with care," he said.
A short while later, the bald man returned, and the virtual auction began. The host described the item that everyone was bidding one as "one of a kind" and one that had a personal meaning to everyone at the auction. "Bring him up," the host said. Just then, a man appeared with his hands tied behind his back and a black hood over his face.
The host asked for the guards to reveal the person that the club members were bidding on. The man's hood was removed, and a curly, blond-haired man was revealed to be Ethan. "For the privilege of ending the life of Ethan Lovett, the bidding will start at one million dollars," the host said as Holly's face filled with horror.
By the side of the road after dark had fallen, Robert tried to repair his car, which had broken down. As they were stranded, Robert asked Diane why she continued to work for Sonny. Diane recalled having gotten Spinelli out of jail the first time she had represented Sonny. Diane rambled on about her career as Robert repaired the car.
Robert asked Diane to stand in front of the car while he started the engine. As Robert started the car, black steam billowed out from under the hood and onto Diane's white dress. Diane changed into a softball jersey that Robert owned. Later, Robert surprised Diane when he put his arms around her and kissed her.
In the gatehouse at the Quartermaine estate, Willow told Michael that she wanted Sonny to be at their wedding. Willow added that Sonny was a part of Michael's family, and she thought that Sonny's presence would cement the fact that Donna, Avery, Wiley, and Amelia were all connected.
Michael huffed that Sonny would want to bring Nina. Willow said she would "handle" Nina. Michael begrudgingly agreed to invite Sonny. Willow said she was "inspired" by Michael's bond with his siblings. Later, the two kissed by the fireplace.
At the Port Charles Police Station, the Civilian Complaint Review Board reinstated Chase to the police force. Brook Lynn rushed to hug Chase, who thanked Brook Lynn for her support. Dante appeared, and he expressed how thrilled he was to have Chase back as a partner. The two turned, and they noticed that Brook Lynn had left.
Later, at Perks Coffee, Dante said that he was grateful to have Chase back on the police force. Chase admitted that his only true passion was being a cop. Dante said that good partners were hard to find and that Chase was one of the best.
Chase vowed to be at the precinct as soon as Jordan signed off on his reinstatement. Dante surprised Chase when he reached into his jacket pocket and handed Chase a badge. "Welcome back to the force, Detective," Dante said. Chase took the badge, and he affixed it to his jacket pocket.
At the hospital, Valentin told Nina and Sonny that he had an update on where the Haunted Star might be. Valentin recalled that Trina had made contact with Portia and provided coordinates. Nina and Sonny thanked Valentin for the update.
Sonny and Nina stated that they didn't hold Valentin responsible for any of Victor's machinations. Valentin said that he wouldn't sleep until Victor was found. Sonny stepped away to make a phone call, and Nina gave Valentin a hug. Valentin asked if Sonny was treating Nina well, and he was happy when Nina said yes. Nina surmised that something was on Valentin's mind. "You," Valentin said.
Valentin asked Nina what it felt like to be Willow's mother, and he encouraged her to open up to him about her feelings. Nina recalled that she and Willow had been in a dark place when they had learned the truth about Nina being Willow's mother. Nina expressed her hope that things had taken a turn for the better.
Nina and Valentin recalled that they had both come a long way since their wedding day. Nina recalled that Valentin had hired Sasha to pose as Nina's daughter. Valentin said that he had wanted to give Nina a daughter, but he hadn't known how.
"It's bitterly ironic. Your father is one of the most violent, cruel men that I have ever encountered. And yet, here you are, with such a capacity to love. It's a pretty incredible thing, don't you think?" Nina said, and she held Valentin's hand.
Nearby, Brook Lynn had run into Sonny, who complimented her for having outed Linc at the Nurses Ball. Brook Lynn gave Sonny the news that Chase had been reinstated. Sonny was happy, but he surmised that something was bothering Brook Lynn.
Just then, Brook Lynn received an alert on her phone. Brook Lynn mentioned in passing that Michael and Willow planned to marry the following day, and she immediately observed that Sonny hadn't known. Brook Lynn apologized.
Brook Lynn said that she was late for a meeting, and she told Sonny that she loved him. Afterwards, Sonny saw Nina on the bench with Valentin. Sonny approached, and Valentin left for Anna's room. Sonny asked Valentin to send his best to Anna. As he turned to leave, Valentin thanked Nina for her kind words.
After Valentin left, Sonny told Nina that something had been brought to his attention. Nina asked what he'd become aware of. "Willow," Sonny said.
In Alexis' office at the Invader, Alexis brought Gregory a bottle of water after he had fainted. Alexis wanted Gregory to go to the hospital, but Gregory said that the hospital wouldn't tell him anything he didn't already know. Alexis asked if Gregory was receiving any form of treatment for his illness from doctors. "There's nothing they can do. I have ALS," Gregory confessed.
Alexis was taken aback by Gregory's admission. Gregory said that his doctor had laid out a plan to help him combat the illness as much as science allowed, and he added that the time seemed to be approaching sooner than he had thought.
Gregory mentioned supportive care, and he said he would eventually lose control of all his movements and that he would be entirely in the care of Chase and Finn. "That's why I haven't told them yet. That's why I want them to go about living their lives -- before they have to deal with that burden," Gregory said.
Alexis sat speechless before Gregory thanked her for listening. Alexis offered to drive Gregory home, but he opted for a ride-share instead. Before he left, Gregory said he had no illusions about the nature of his disease. "I will need help, and I'll ask for it when the time comes," Gregory said. "Anything. Any time," Alexis said. Alexis looked heartbroken as Gregory left.
On the island off the coast of Venezuela, the host announced that someone had submitted a bid for one million dollars to kill Ethan. Holly raised her hand, and she eventually increased her bid to ten million dollars. "Sold. You have just bought yourself the exquisite privilege of executing Ethan Lovett,' the host said morbidly.
The host demanded that Holly pay right away. Holly tried to stall, but the host said that the next highest bidder had already transferred their own funds. "Ethan Lovett is no longer yours for the taking," the host told Holly.
As Holly protested, Ethan tried to slip free from the rope that held his hands behind his back. Just then, a woman dressed in white with a long white hat to shield her face appeared. The host congratulated the woman for having won the auction.
As the woman tried to walk past Holly and Felicia, Holly pulled on the woman's dress. The woman's face came into focus, and she was revealed to be Tracy Quartermaine. Tracy said that she had gone to Venezuela for the same reason that Holly and Felicia had. The host accused Tracy of working with Holly and Felicia, and he ordered nearby guards to seize the three women.
Tracy sarcastically congratulated Holly and Felicia for having ruined everything. Just then, Ethan broke free of the rope that had held his hands together, and he punched one of the guards. Felicia and Holly attacked another guard, and Ethan shouted for everyone to leave with him. The four hurriedly filed out of the room together.
At the hospital, Elizabeth handed discharge papers to Esme. Esme told Elizabeth that she needed to speak to Austin and that it could be a matter of life and death. Moments later, Austin appeared, and Esme told him about Ace's kidnapping. Austin and Elizabeth tried to reassure Esme, who continued to worry.
Elizabeth said that because Spencer had also been kidnapped by Victor, Spencer would do everything he could to protect Ace. Esme asked if Elizabeth had meant that Ace didn't need Esme. Elizabeth again reassured Esme that no one was trying to take Ace from her. Esme apologized, and she said that Elizabeth and Austin had both been a great comfort to her. Esme left to find Laura.
Elizabeth and Austin complimented each other on how well they had handled Esme. Austin asked Elizabeth for a favor, and he noted that Amy had been staring at him all day. Elizabeth asked Amy if Austin could help Amy with something. Amy blurted out that Austin should stop seeing Ava if he knew what was good for him.
Elizabeth told Amy that it was none of her business who Austin saw. Amy continued to ramble on about Ava, and she recalled that Nikolas had disappeared. Elizabeth chided Amy for not minding her business. "Don't you have charts you're supposed to file?" Elizabeth asked Amy, who replied that she didn't. "Well, you do now," Elizabeth said with some spunk, and Amy left.
Austin said that Elizabeth would make a great head nurse. Elizabeth apologized to Austin for Amy's rude behavior and gossip-mongering. Elizabeth said she hoped that Ava was over Nikolas. Just then, Ava appeared at the hospital. Austin looked at Ava, and he said that things weren't always what they seemed.
Also at the hospital, Curtis grew impatient in the search for Trina. Laura tried to reassure Curtis. Esme appeared, and she told Laura that she had been given her release papers. Laura introduced Esme to Curtis, and Esme left to get coffee. While Esme was gone, Curtis said that he didn't know how Laura put up with Esme.
Curtis expressed his reservations about Esme. Laura said that even if Esme recovered her memory, it didn't mean that she would revert back to her former self. Laura mentioned Drew's name in passing, and Curtis said that Laura had just given him an idea for how to find the Haunted Star.
Esme returned with coffee, and she told Curtis that Trina had been kind to her, even though Trina had had no reason to be. Esme added that she hoped Trina was found soon. Curtis thanked Esme, and he left. Laura asked if Esme was ready to leave. Esme said she wasn't sure, and she added that the reason she didn't want to go home was because Ace wouldn't be there. Laura put her arms around Esme.
At Wyndemere, Ava had been enjoying time alone with Avery when she heard the sound of the doorbell and Carly banging loudly on the front door. Inside, Carly shared that Michael and Willow planned to wed the following day, and she said that Willow wanted Avery to be a part of the wedding.
Carly saw Avery, and she handed her a basket. Avery accepted Carly's offer to be a flower girl at the wedding. Carly put Avery to bed, and she returned to the main lobby. Ava shared that she thought the wedding was a great idea, and Carly agreed. Carly started to leave, but Ava said that she was unclear about something.
Ava recalled that Carly had said the wedding would be a "family affair," and she asked if that would include Sonny and Nina. Carly said that the guest list was up to Michael and Willow. Carly grew angry with Ava, and she asked why Ava cared. Ava said that she cared because Nina was her friend. Carly asked what Ava and Nina could have in common as friends. "Besides hating me?" Carly assumed.
Ava told Carly that she didn't hate Carly. Carly wondered how it was possible that Ava and Nina were friends, and she again brought up that "the woman immobilized you and forced you to give birth to Avery" years earlier. Ava said that when she looked at Nina, she no longer saw the disturbed woman Nina had once been. "I see the woman that has gotten help, that has turned her life around... And you know something, Carly? It feels a lot better than harboring bitterness and resentment," Ava said.
Carly sarcastically thanked Ava for her "inspiration." Ava tried to reason that Carly had enough power to broker peace between Nina and Willow. Ava said that she was only trying to spare Carly from the same regrets that Ava had. Carly asked what regrets Ava had. Ava said that some choices in life kept her up at night. Carly used Ava's words to throw Morgan's name in Ava's face.
Carly asked if Ava had anything else to say. Ava said that she had seen Carly rise above herself for the good of Avery where it concerned Ava, and she pleaded with Carly to do the same with Nina for Willow's sake. Carly dismissively said that it wasn't her choice to make. Ava remarked that she had tried. Carly threw Trina's name in Ava's face when she suggested that the reason Ava was trying so hard to "fix" Nina and Willow's relationship was because she couldn't fix Trina.
Ava asked if something had happened to Trina, and she panicked when Carly said that the police were certain that Victor had Trina. Ava invited Carly to stay with Avery while Ava left to find Portia for an update on Trina.
After Ava left, Carly picked up the flower basket, and she flashed back to Ava saying that time was running out for Nina and Willow and that Carly was capable of rising above her differences. Just then, the doorbell rang. Carly opened the door to Nina.
In the hospital chapel, Sonny had told Nina about Michael and Willow's plans to marry the following day. Nina initially didn't feel like celebrating, and she surmised that Willow and Michael were running out of time together. Sonny's phone rang, and he took a call from Michael. Michael said that he needed to see Sonny, and he agreed to meet Sonny at the chapel.
Later, Michael entered the chapel. Nina wished Michael and Willow the best, and she left. Michael surprised Sonny when he invited Sonny to the wedding. Sonny said that he was more than honored to be included. Michael added that Nina was specifically not invited to the wedding -- right as Nina returned to the chapel.
Sonny started to decline the wedding invitation, but Nina encouraged him to go. Nina added that Willow would be a "breathtaking bride." Through heavy tears, Nina asked Michael to tell Willow that Nina was thinking about her. Nina rushed out of the chapel as she struggled to gain her composure.
After Nina had left, Michael noted that Sonny had been about to turn down his invitation. "It depends. Is this invite from both of you or just Willow? Do you really want me to be there?" Sonny asked.
Michael claimed to want what was best for his family, and he said that included having Sonny at the wedding. Sonny said he also wanted what was best for his family, and he told Michael that he had made his decision. "I'll be there," Sonny said.
On board the Haunted Star, Trina returned to Spencer's stateroom. Spencer told Trina that he had been going crazy without her, and he rushed to hug her for several seconds. Spencer was thrilled when Trina said that her plan had worked, and she produced a walkie-talkie from the communications room.
Trina said that she had swiped the walkie-talkie to monitor the guards' movements. Spencer said that while Trina had been in the communications room, he had learned that Victor was more dangerous than Spencer ever could have imagined. "He has this plan, one that could endanger billions of lives, and if we don't stop him before we make landfall, it will be too late for all of us," Spencer said in a panic.
Spencer told Trina that Victor wanted to "clear out" half the world's population. The walkie-talkie buzzed, and Trina left to plan her and Spencer's next move in the ship's engine room. Spencer pleaded with Trina to be safe, and the two shared another kiss. "This is about more than me and you now. We have no choice. We have to do something. It's up to us," Trina said.
Trina slipped the walkie-talkie into her jacket, and she stepped back into the hallway outside. "Now might be a good time to start praying," Spencer whispered to himself after Trina left. After leaving Spencer's room, Trina gained access to the engine room after making sure that a guard had left his post.
Afterwards, Victor appeared in Spencer's room with a fussy Ace in his arms. Spencer said that Ace had colic, and Spencer asked that Victor trust him with Ace. Victor mentioned Valentin, and Spencer asked if losing Valentin was what had pushed Victor "over the edge."
Victor stated that Valentin was alive, and he said that his plans all along had been to eliminate much of the population. Spencer tried to dissuade Victor from his plan. Watkins appeared, and he asked to speak to Victor outside. Victor left Spencer alone with Ace.
Spencer held Ace, and he pressed his ear to the door. Spencer overheard Watkins say that the ship's engine was badly damaged. Victor then barked instructions for Watkins to tell the engineer to fix whatever was wrong.
Watkins told Victor that the engine room hadn't been left vacant for longer than ten minutes. Victor then said he had instructions for Watkins, and he demanded that they be followed "to the letter." Moments later, all guards received a message to report to the main deck. A guard posted near Spencer's room left, and Trina unlocked the door to sneak back into Spencer's room.
Moments later, Victor had Spencer and Ace escorted onto the main deck of the Haunted Star. Victor said that he had decided to have Spencer join him for dinner because Spencer no longer had reason to "pull off those diversionary stunts of yours."
Spencer said he didn't know what Victor had meant. "Ah! I see our dinner guest has arrived!" Victor exclaimed as he heard the sound of approaching footsteps. Spencer turned, and he was stunned to find that Trina had been grabbed and forced into the room.
Brook Lynn entered the kitchen and heard Ned tell someone on the phone that they needed to "mitigate the damage ASAP." When he hung up, she wondered what was going on. He revealed that the news of Valentin's faked death had caused a large dip in ELQ's stock and that he would probably have to make some tough decisions in order to cut costs. He was angry that Valentin hadn't even put out a statement, but Brook Lynn informed Ned that Valentin hadn't left Anna's bedside. He talked about having Michael and Drew help him oust Valentin, but Brook Lynn thought that was wrong. Ned insisted that business wasn't personal, but she reminded him that Valentin was a Cassadine who Ned wouldn't want as an enemy.
Portia was crying in her office when Ava entered. They talked about the danger Trina was in, and Portia fully blamed Spencer. She wished that Trina had never met him, and she promised that Trina would never see him again should they make it. Ava reasoned that there had been a big change in Spencer because of Trina, but Portia countered that he'd also caused her a lot of pain. Ava had to get home to Avery, but she asked Portia to keep her updated. Ava assured Portia that Trina would be fine, and everything would work out. She left.
At the hospital, Curtis updated Drew on Trina. He wanted to know more about Drew's connection to Victor, so Drew reminded Curtis of Victor trying to use the tarot card to trigger Drew into talking about Operation Demeter. Curtis begged Drew to try to remember whatever he could about it, but Drew had tried and hadn't been able to remember anything. Curtis spotted Portia and asked for an update on Trina, but there was none. Portia couldn't believe that there was no one in the world who could tell them what Operation Demeter was. "Maybe there is," Drew said.
At Wyndemere, Carly thought back to Ava's plea to help Nina and Willow make peace. Just then, the doorbell rang, and Carly opened the door to Nina. In response to Nina's third degree about where Ava was, Carly revealed that she was watching Avery while Ava had to run out. Nina sat down and invited Carly to leave, as she needed to talk to Ava. Carly refused to leave, and Nina accused her of not trusting Nina alone with Avery. Nina figured that Carly was the one who'd told Michael not to invite Nina to the wedding. She commented that Michael had invited Sonny, which surprised Carly. She realized that Sonny was going without Nina, and she marveled that Sonny had finally gotten his priorities straight.
Nina and Carly began to argue about whose fault it was that Willow's days were numbered and that Nina had little time to try to make peace with Willow. Carly finally blurted out that Willow had expressed fear that her mother would turn out to be someone like Nina. Nina tearfully replied that she should have had the rest of her life to make things up to Willow, but she didn't because Carly had stolen time. Nina grabbed her things and left. Ava returned a short while later, and Carly informed her that Nina had been there. Carly asked Ava to never give her advice again, and Carly stormed out.
Back in her car, Nina thought back to her argument with Carly. "Sanctimonious bitch. Nothing is ever your fault, is it, Carly?" she muttered. She thought back to her conversation with Ava about Carly possibly engaging in insider trading. "It might be time for Carly to face some consequences of her own," Nina said to herself.
A guard escorted Trina out to Victor. Spencer tried to run to her, but he stopped when another guard pulled out his gun. Victor welcomed her on board. Liesl was escorted out and wondered where Trina had come from. Victor explained that Trina was the reason for their delay, and he knew everything she was responsible for. He figured that she was clever, so she could help him decide what to do with her.
Victor pulled Liesl aside to talk, and she went on about how fascinating the research on his pathogen was. She thought that she could produce a vaccine, but she hadn't agreed to help him. "Yet," he added. Across the room, Spencer made sure that Trina was all right, and she apologized for falling into the trap. He promised that they would get out of the situation.
A short while later, everyone was out on the deck of the Haunted Star. Victor gave Spencer one last chance to join him and be a Cassadine, but Spencer refused. Trina called out that Spencer would never be anything like Victor. Spencer maintained that he wouldn't join Victor, no matter what Victor did to him. "Throw her over the side," Victor ordered. Trina and Spencer struggled against their guards as Trina's moved her toward the side of the ship.
Spencer finally agreed to join Victor as long as Trina wasn't hurt. Victor ordered the guard to release Trina, and she ran into Spencer's arms. He assured her that people were on their way, so they would be all right. Victor insisted that he wasn't stupid enough to believe anything Spencer said, and he stated that they could both drown. "Goodbye, Spencer," Victor said as Spencer and Trina again struggled against their guards.
Liesl insisted that Victor stop the "nonsense." She informed him that she needed test subjects for her vaccines. She talked about how intrigued she was by the challenge Victor had presented her with. While the struggling had stopped, Spencer hoped that they had time to figure something out before Liesl used them as test subjects. One of Victor's men informed him that the ship would start moving again within the hour. Victor ordered Spencer and Trina to be locked up. Liesl reminded him to feed and water them, as she needed healthy test subjects. Victor announced that they would arrive in Venezuela by morning.
At Sam and Dante's apartment, Dante invited Sonny to lunch. Dante was surprised to learn that Sonny had been invited to Michael and Willow's wedding. Sonny noted that Nina hadn't been invited.
Dante warned that Nina might never be accepted as "family," and he asked what that would do to Sonny's relationship with Nina. Sonny said that he and Nina would be fine, and he mentioned that he had seen a "growth" in Nina and Willow's relationship. Sonny expressed his confidence that everything would work out.
At Charlie's Pub, Sasha found Gladys' story about Cody hard to believe. Nearby, Sam stood at the bar, and she spotted Gladys. Sam flashed back to Cody having said that Gladys wasn't trustworthy. Kristina approached Sam, and the two chatted briefly until Dex entered.
Dex said he had gone to the pub because Sonny had wanted him to give Kristina some papers. Kristina opened an envelope, and she told Dex that the papers were listings for properties that could be used as transitional housing for homeless youth.
Dex asked if Sonny planned to open a charity in Kristina's name. Kristina praised Sonny as a good father. Kristina told Dex, "I just wish everyone could see the Sonny Corinthos that I do... My mom and my sisters are amazing, and they love and accept me completely. But no one gets me like my dad. He's always been my biggest champion. I don't know what I'd do without him." Kristina beamed.
Afterwards, Dex stepped outside the pub to call someone. Dex told the person that the Pikeman shipment was scheduled to arrive that night and that he would let the person know more later.
Back at their table, Gladys suggested that she and Sasha go on a vacation. Sasha declined, but she encouraged Gladys to book a vacation for herself. Sasha invited Gladys to use her credit card. Sasha left as Sam watched Gladys from afar.
Sam approached Gladys, and she remarked that Gladys was planning a high-end trip. Gladys questioned why Sam had posted Cody's bail. Sam said she wasn't sure that Cody was guilty. Gladys rambled about Cody, and Sam asked why Gladys was taking the case so personally. Gladys claimed that supporting Cody was a mistake. "Would that be a mistake for me or for you?" Sam asked. Gladys stood up and left.
In the kitchen at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn told Cody that Ned had wanted to fire Cody after the arrest at the Nurses Ball. Cody said that he wasn't a thief and that he had been framed. Brook Lynn asked if Cody had any idea who would set him up. Just then, Sasha entered.
Brook Lynn stepped out of the kitchen, and Cody said he hoped that Sasha didn't believe that he had stolen the bracelet. Sasha expressed her doubts that Cody was innocent. Cody raised his voice when he told Sasha not to listen to Gladys, and he adamantly said that Gladys had framed him.
Sasha asked why Gladys would frame Cody, who whispered to himself that he could list "several thousand reasons." Cody said aloud that he couldn't tell Sasha his reasons. Sasha scoffed that she should believe Cody. Cody said that Sasha couldn't trust Gladys. Sasha replied that the person she couldn't trust was Cody, and she stormed out.
In a hospital exam room, Dr. Navarro examined Molly as part of Molly and T.J.'s plans to have a baby. Dr. Navarro said that she felt Molly needed a biopsy. Dr. Navarro said that Molly could have endometriosis, and she explained what the condition was. Molly said she wanted to have the biopsy right away. After the biopsy, Dr. Navarro said she felt that Molly likely had endometriosis. Molly asked how the potential diagnosis could affect her plans with T.J.
Also at the hospital, Alexis and Laura talked about the search for Victor. Alexis mentioned Nikolas, and Laura noted that it was out of character for Nikolas to walk away from two sons. Alexis asked if it was possible that Nikolas was one of Victor's captives on board the Haunted Star. Laura said she thought Nikolas had fled town to avoid his legal problems.
T.J. approached as Laura left to make some calls. Alone with Alexis, T.J. spotted a pamphlet about ALS that Alexis had been carrying. Alexis shared that the pamphlet was for a friend. "What I would like to know is, is there any hope?" Alexis asked.
T.J. suggested that Alexis speak with a colleague of his, whom T.J. described as both "incredibly knowledgeable" and "on the forefront of research for diseases like ALS." Alexis thanked T.J. Just then, a nurse told T.J. that Dr. Navarro was finishing her visit with Molly. Moments later, Molly joined T.J. and Alexis. Alexis surmised that something was wrong with Molly.
In a storage room that had belonged to Kim Nero, Drew and Curtis went through some of Kim's things in the search for clues about Operation Demeter. Drew found a map, and Curtis noticed a mark in the corner that was a Virgo sign.
Later, at the hospital, Drew and Curtis found Laura. Drew shared the map that he and Curtis had found. Drew noted that the map had been embossed with the Virgo symbol. Drew recalled that Virgo had ties to Demeter, the black op site that Drew had been involved in as a Navy SEAL. Laura looked at the map, and she said they might know where the ship was headed.
In Spencer's room on the Haunted Star, Trina was thrown into the room by one of Victor's guards. Trina had changed her clothes, and she recalled having heard someone say they needed all hands on deck. Trina told Spencer that she was afraid. Spencer assured Trina that he would never let Victor hurt her.
Spencer swore that as long as they were together, there was nothing that Spencer and Trina couldn't face. Spencer and Trina held one another, and they sat down on the bed. "I'm glad I'm with you. Any doubts about being with you are gone," Trina said.
Spencer joked that Trina had to be mistaken, and he jokingly referred to himself as "a known reprobate... an entitled bourgeois, hot-tempered good-for-nothing." Trina whispered that Spencer had left out one detail. "You're not the man that I'm crushing on, Spencer. You're so much more than that," Trina said softly.
Trina placed her hand on Spencer's chest, and she moved her arms behind his neck. Trina said that dating Spencer was an "adventure," and she said that he challenged her. "And with you... I want to experience everything I never have," she said softly. "Everything?" Spencer asked. "Everything," Trina repeated as she and Spencer gazed into each other's eyes.
Trina said that she would like to start "new experiences." Spencer said that his stateroom wasn't how he had envisioned the couple's first time. "Oh, you've pictured it, huh?" Trina teased. Spencer said he didn't want Trina to have any regrets. Trina spoke of her virginity. Spencer said that Trina's first time should be special.
"Where I do it, or when, isn't what makes it special, Spencer. What makes it special... is that it's you and me," Trina said, and she and Spencer kissed on the bed.
Trina said that it could be their only chance to feel so close again, and she added that they didn't know what "tomorrow" would bring. Spencer and Trina started to make out passionately.
Spencer and Trina had decided to make love, and Spencer climbed on top of her on the bed. The two were interrupted by a noise. Spencer noted that the ship had stopped. "It's docked. We've reached land," Spencer said as he looked out through a porthole.
