Taylor wondered why she and Ridge were fighting all the time. Thorne went to see her and showed up at Taylor's door. Thorne told Taylor what had happened with Macy. He told her he needed someone to talk to. She told him about lunch with Ridge and about Ridge's tirade about Thorne. They finally broke down and laughed at their situations. Taylor and Thorne drank to broken hearts.
Thorne asked Taylor if he should talk to Ridge for her. She told him not to unless he kept her name out of it. Thorne told her that she was the only thing he and Ridge had in common at that moment. Taylor asked if she should call Macy. He laughed, saying, "I am talking to Ridge for you. You are talking to Macy for me. Why don't we just talk to each other?"
Meanwhile, Stephanie noticed Ridge was home and asked how it had gone. He told her fine until Thorne's name had been mentioned, and it had gone south from there. Stephanie begged him to work out their differences. Ridge said, "He is so busy trying to save the world, he's destroying his own marriage." Stephanie told Ridge to tell Thorne that. She figured it might mean something if Ridge were the one saying it.
Stephanie wondered where Thorne was. Ridge told her that he'd better not be at Taylor's because he'd told Thorne that she was off-limits. Claudia walked in, blaming herself about the divorce. Ridge told her she'd had nothing to do with the divorce. Ridge told Stephanie that the next day, he would spend some time with Thorne. Stephanie still wondered where Thorne was, so she asked Claudia. Claudia just said he'd been pretty upset when he'd left. Stephanie called the office to track him down but had no luck.
Grant told Brooke she needed to unwind and instructed her to just sit back and have some Champagne. She realized that he had hopes for sex and told him she wasn't ready yet and didn't know when she would be ready. Grant left and ended up at a bar where he ran into Clarke. When Grant realized that Clarke had figured out that his marriage hadn't been consummated yet, he told him to drop it.
Clarke told Grant that until he slept with Brooke, it was not considered a marriage. Brooke could get an annulment. When Grant spoke with the bartender, he learned that one of the men in the bar was the man who'd married him and Brooke. That same man was a con man who pretended to marry people on his boat.
Thorne told Taylor that he was moving on. He also told her that eventually, she would move on, too. He knew it would be hard, but with friends, family, and him to lean on, she would get through it. She told him, "That makes a difference." Thorne said he could count on going over to her house and talking, but she meant more than that to him.
Taylor hugged Thorne. Thorne said, "I'll have to use you; you'll use me. That's what good relationships are all about. I'll be here for you, Taylor." They hugged, and he kissed her head. As they were doing so, Stephanie happened to walk by the window. She burst in, demanding to know what was going on. She asked, "What have the two of you done?"
At the pool, Claudia asked if Ridge had found Thorne. Claudia told him that it would really make Thorne happy if Ridge and he made up. She said that Thorne had tried to help him, not hurt him. She asked what Thorne could possibly gain. She told Ridge that Thorne would never betray him.
Stephanie was furious to find Taylor and Thorne hugging. Taylor tried to explain what was going on, but Stephanie didn't want to hear any details. Stephanie ordered Thorne to get in the car so they could go home. She told him he'd betrayed his brother. He told her he was not a child. Taylor told Thorne to go home so he and Stephanie could talk. He headed out the door but refused to ride with his mother.
Clarke called Lauren, trying to get her to switch to Spectra. She told him she was not interested. Eric entered her office. She told him they had some unfinished business. He knew exactly where they'd left off and kissed her. Lauren tried to convince Eric to put her designs in the fall line. Eric told Lauren it was not going to happen. They just did not fit in at Forrester. She was very disappointed.
Clarke fantasized about Lauren wanting him and wanting to work at Spectra. After Eric walked out, Lauren called Clarke at Spectra. She asked if he was still interested in her designs. They made plans to meet in the morning.
Stephanie burst through the front door, screaming Thorne's name. Thorne told her she was overreacting. She asked him if he was trying to tear the family apart. She told him never to tell Ridge. Thorne admitted he had feelings for Taylor. She told him that Ridge was engaged to Taylor and that she belonged with Ridge. He said he was tired of her taking Ridge's perfect side. Thorne mentioned Ridge sleeping with Caroline as he cried that Ridge didn't deserve his loyalty.
Claudia told Ridge that she would do anything to help Thorne. She continued to blame herself. Claudia convinced Ridge to go make up with his brother right away.
Stephanie asked if Thorne was using Taylor to get back at Ridge for sleeping with Caroline. She told him that if he tried to take Taylor away from Ridge, she would just despise him. Stephanie just couldn't allow it. Ridge walked in and told Thorne he had been looking for him. Ridge told Thorne he wanted to put everything behind them, thanks to Taylor. She had convinced him that Thorne had a right to see Taylor.
Ridge apologized for letting things get out of hand. Ridge put his hand out to Thorne to shake on it. Thorne laughed, saying, "Me helping you get back Taylor." Ridge said he hadn't lost her. Thorne replied, "Not yet!" He walked out. Ridge wondered what Thorne's problem was. Stephanie told Ridge she would handle it. Then Ridge realized his brother had the hots for Taylor.

Stephanie told Eric that she'd seen Thorne and Taylor kissing. Eric asked if Ridge knew about it. Stephanie told him that Ridge suspected something. Eric wondered why Taylor had allowed it to happen. Stephanie thought Taylor might have feelings for Thorne. Eric told Stephanie that they had to keep Thorne and Taylor apart. Stephanie told Eric she had an idea -- a party. Eric left.
As Thorne was thinking of Taylor, she arrived at his office. Taylor told him he had to forget about the other night. He asked if she could do that.
Brooke arrived in Ridge's office with some sketches and told him to give them to Thorne. Ridge told her she could do it. Ridge asked how things were with her and Chambers. She simply said, "Fine." He told her how Grant had kept going on and on about their romantic escapades. Brooke told him not to believe everything he heard. Ridge realized that Brooke and Grant hadn't made love yet.
Taylor let Thorne know that the other night shouldn't have happened. He couldn't deny his feelings for her. She told him she was going to marry Ridge. Thorne said, "I know you have feelings for me too. I can't forget that something special has happened for us. You can't either."
Claudia vowed to repay Stephanie for her kindness. Stephanie said she could tell that Claudia was a very interesting woman with good values. She said Claudia's parents had done a wonderful job. Stephanie had a surprise for Claudia.
Ridge asked Brooke why she hadn't consummated her marriage to Grant. She said it just wasn't easy letting go.
Two women from Forrester delivered a whole wardrobe of Forrester Originals to Claudia. Claudia was truly shocked. She modeled all the outfits.
Brooke asked Ridge if he had moved on. When he told her he was trying, she asked why he wasn't married to Taylor yet. He just said they had hit a few bumps, that was all. He told Brooke he cared for her, but what was done was done. He wanted her to be happy in her marriage. She asked if he wanted her to go home and make love to her husband. He didn't answer. When they both realized they weren't getting anywhere, Brooke left.
Stephanie told Ridge she was having a party and to invite Taylor. Thorne told Taylor he didn't like the way Ridge treated her. Thorne promised to never break her heart. Ridge walked in and asked what was going on. Thorne asked what Ridge wanted. Ridge told Thorne to back off. He told Thorne about the party then kissed Taylor. Totally disgusted, Thorne walked out.
Claudia walked in wearing a short blue dress. Stephanie told her to wear it to the party. Stephanie said, "This is going to be a night that's going to be remembered."
Stephanie stopped by Taylor's place and explained why she was throwing the dinner party that night. Taylor let Stephanie know that she was worried about sitting down with Ridge and Thorne. Stephanie impressed upon her the need for togetherness, reminding her that she would be Ridge's date that night and assuring her that Stephanie would not tell Ridge what she'd seen the other night.
Thorne walked in on Ridge as he dressed for the big bash, and when Ridge commented that Taylor was driving herself to the party, Thorne accused his brother of not treating Taylor like a lady. Ridge warned his brother to stay away from Taylor that night.
As the party got underway, Claudia made a grand entrance, wearing one of Ridge's designs and wowing the Forresters. Ridge made a toast all the beautiful women in the room. Stephanie pushed Claudia to be with Thorne. Meanwhile, Ridge flirted with Taylor, angering Thorne, who couldn't take his eyes off of them. Thorne thought that Ridge was embarrassing her. Finally, when he could take it no longer, Thorne stormed out. When Taylor threatened to go after him, Ridge asked her not to. Instead, Claudia ran to Thorne.
Macy complained to Sally about the sorry state of her marriage. She explained her feeling that Thorne had no interest in working on their relationship because he was involved with another woman. However, she couldn't believe that his involvement with Claudia was the reason because it had happened so fast. Macy decided that another woman had to have his attention and vowed to find out who she could be.
