Kendall tried to convince Ethan to leave town. He was reluctant to leave her holding the bag and guessed that Zach was behind her wanting him to leave. Kendall denied it and warned him about the possibility he is found guilty, even though he is innocent. She said Zach made her see she's being selfish in wanting him to stay in Pine Valley for herself and suggested he jump bail. He started to express his feelings for her and said he wanted to tell her truth. She expressed her philosophy that truth equals pain. Ethan expressed his gratitude to Kendall for all her help, which she found hard to accept. He told her to forget Zach, realize he is her best friend, and let him stay in town to be near her.
Jamie tried to get Babe to get back on the road, but she was anxious to talk to Bianca, who called back just then. Babe was shocked to hear that she never read the letter and JR had destroyed it and that Bianca didn't believe the horrible lie about Bess being Miranda. Bianca wanted to know what the real truth was. Babe realized she had to see Bianca face to face to give her the news and make things right. Bianca told Babe about Paul being dead and wondered if that was her secret and didn't want Babe to take any risks to see her. Bianca didn't understand why Babe was afraid of losing her friendship. They made plans to meet at the benefit concert for Miranda and Babe asked Bianca to bring JR and Bess with her. Bianca guessed Babe planned to kidnap her baby. Babe said she just has to make things right, for the sake of Bess and her happiness. Jamie was worried, but Babe told him she had to do whatever was necessary to get Miranda back with Bianca without JR's interference.
Bianca went to see Kendall to ask for help. Kendall asked Ethan to give them privacy. Kendall was confused but agreed when Bianca asked her to come along and help make things right.
At the gym, Zach/Alex and Maria ran into each other and he continued to feel guilty for not acknowledging Ethan as his son, and also for trying to push him out of Kendall's life. Maria tried to get him to change his mind and accept his son in his life. They went back to their workouts at the gym and Maria started fantasizing about Zach. Ethan came to the gym and approached Zach as he did bench presses, warning him it was dangerous to lift weights without a spotter.
Krystal went to David's and he kissed her. They were interrupted by JR, who came to invite them for Thanksgiving dinner to be with Bess. Krystal opined the invitation would be rescinded after they realized Mary had already invited a dozen cabana boys. JR left. David knew JR was only on a fishing expedition to find out what they knew about Bess/Miranda. Alone, David and Krystal vowed to do whatever was necessary to keep Babe (and Jamie and Ace) safe. Krystal expressed her gratitude to David for all his support and asked for an explanation for the kiss. David played coy and told her he cares for her, but they should save their energy to save Babe.
Adam barked at Stuart who was only making a family tree for Bess's first Christmas. Adam studied a photo of Bess, wondering who she looks like and Stuart saw Lottie, Hayley, and Dixie. Stuart felt pressured to say she's all Chandler and warned Adam to only love her so she never has to leave him. Adam threw Stuart out. Adam was not amused to hear JR had invited David and Krystal, but was pleased to hear he only wanted to find out what they knew and was prepared to take Bess out of the country if he thought anyone believed Babe's letters. Later, JR was stunned to find Bianca and Kendall at the door, asking for his help for Miranda.
Maria was surprised to learn that Edmund has gotten some feeling back in his legs.
Jamie and Babe arrived in Florida and realized that a man who they thought was taking pictures of them was actually hired to follow another person staying at the motel. Babe wanted to call Bianca again to find out if she had convinced J.R. to meet them in Florida, but Jamie convinced her not to, saying it was too risky for them to keep calling home. Instead, they started to come up with a plan for telling Bianca the truth about Bess being Miranda. At first, Jamie wanted Babe to stay at the motel with James while he met with Bianca, J.R. and Bess, but Babe told him she had to meet with Bianca face-to-face and make things right. Later, Babe and Jamie grew closer while talking about what it used to be like when they had real relationships.
Back in Pine Valley, Kendall and Bianca visited the Chandler mansion. J.R. and Bianca told Kendall what Babe's letter said, and Kendall suggested they check out the claim that Bess is really Miranda. But Adam reassured Kendall the test was accurate because Joe Martin oversaw it. Eventually, J.R. admitted to Bianca that he lied about what was in the letter, and said he just wanted Bianca to see Babe for who she really is. Bianca told him she knows Babe has lied to everybody, including her, and that she doesn't care about Babe anymore since she walked out on Bess. She told J.R. that she wants to patch up their friendship and asked him to go to the Miranda Center concert in Florida and perform. At first, he said no, but Kendall convinced him to come, saying it will be a good way for him to wipe the slate clean and make Babe the bad guy. After Bianca and Kendall left, J.R. caught Adam trying to sneak out of the room with a glass Bianca had been drinking from. He made Adam drop the glass, then warned him not to try performing another DNA test on Bess or he would leave and take Bess with him.
At the gym, Ethan ran into Zach and told him he should try to kill him since he's already going to be tried for attempted murder anyway. Zach told Ethan not to blow his shot at freedom by going after him or defending Kendall. Ethan told Zach he isn't worth going to prison over and yells at him for using Kendall to get to him. Zach called Kendall the "village basketcase" and Ethan punched him. Jonathan showed up and apologized to Ethan now that he knows Ethan didn't shoot Ryan. But he said he now thinks it was Zach and offers to help Ethan clear his name because together they can nail Zach. Ethan told Jonathan he's on his own. Bobby, who was listening to their conversation, later called somebody and told them he wanted $50,000 cash.
Also at the gym, Maria walked in on Edmund during physical therapy and learned that he has had feeling in his leg for a month. Angry that he hadn't told her earlier, she asked him if he kept his progress from her as payback for Zach. Edmund asked if it would have made a difference is she had known and said it wouldn't have changed anything. Maria said he's right, that it wouldn't have changed that she loves him, doesn't want a divorce and didn't cheat on him. Edmund told her she's still lying to him and told her to get out. After leaving the gym, Edmund ended up at Tempo, where Brooke told him he's made it so that Maria can't win. Edmund said that he knows the feeling in his leg might not last and he doesn't want Maria to get her hopes up and stay because of that. Meanwhile, Maria ran into Zach and they kissed. Zach told her he didn't want to be with her just to punish her husband. Maria reminded him that he promised she could leave with him and he'd love her, but Zach turned her down, saying he'll push away the people he loves -- like Ethan -- if it's for their own good ... even if they end up hating him because of it.
Tad recorded a phone call between Krystal and Babe, and overheard Krystal say she still loves him and that he was right to kick her out.
Everybody shows up at the Chandler mansion for Thanksgiving. J.R. tells Adam he invited Krystal and David because he's going to prove Bess is his even if he has to bury them to do it. Mary, Krystal, David, Brooke, Opal and Palmer all start arguing as soon as they arrive, but agree they all showed up out of curiosity to find out what J.R. and Adam are up to. Marian shows up and attacks Adam for not inviting Stuart, who is at home baking pies to make himself feel better. Adam tells her that Stuart wasn't invited because he helped Tad keep Colby from him by pretending he was Adam to steal the fake DVDs of Bess and Jamie. Tad also shows up at the house uninvited and tells Adam that Stuart is the closest thing he'll ever get to a conscious. Adam points out to everybody that the DVDs didn't matter, because Bess ran away and left Bess behind anyway. J.R. calls everybody off and asks them to get along for the day for Bess.
The rest of Pine Valley is at the Valley Inn for Thanksgiving, with Myrtle as the designated head of the family. Greenlee and Ryan show up and everybody starts fighting until Myrtle reminds them that they're all blessed and should count their blessings -- or at least stop whining and moaning. Greenlee sees Kendall and Ethan and thinks Kendall brought him just to get to her and Ryan. Ryan asks Greenlee if her new medication is making her feel better, and she asks him to keep her situation private.
Kendall pulls Bianca outside and demands to know why she helped get J.R. to agree to go to Florida for the Miranda Center concert. Kendall says she doesn't like setting up her friends and that she won't do anything else that will get them in trouble. Kendall threatens to call J.R., but Bianca stops her and asks her to trust her. She says J.R. used to be her friend, too, but if Kendall had all the facts, she wouldn't be his friend, either. Kendall agrees to stay quiet.
While Kendall is out of the dining room, Ethan tells Erica and Jack that Greenlee tried to run down Kendall in the parking garage. Ryan gets mad at Ethan for telling them. Greenlee admits what she did, then starts to have one of her spells and tells Erica and Kendall that she doesn't need either of them, and calls them a waste of air and space. Myrtle breaks them up by threatening to kick them out of the dinner. While Greenlee and Ryan head out into the lobby, Jonathan lets it spill to everybody that Greenlee has "psychiatric problems" and snapped when she tried to run over Kendall. Greenlee, in the lobby, tells Ryan she's going to the ladies room, but instead ends up on the roof with a rope and a bag full of items.
Down in Florida, Babe and Jamie are celebrating their own Thanksgiving with James and take-out. Babe calls Bianca, but J.R. picks up the phone, which Bianca had dropped in the couch the last time she was at the Chandler mansion. Babe hangs up, but J.R. and Tad recognize the area code as being from Florida. Tad and Krystal know it's really Babe who called and call her back from outside. David tells Babe not to call home, but Babe says she needs to tell Bianca the truth, even if she has to go on national television to do it. David and Krystal plead with Babe not to do anything else because they have a plan to get Miranda back to Bianca if everybody sticks to David's plan. Tad, who overhears part of the phone call, walks in and tells David he wants to talk to Jamie. David hangs up the phone and won't tell Tad where Babe and Jamie are. He says he's protecting Jamie, too, and that J.R. can't know his son is alive.
Inside the Chandler house, J.R. realizes almost everybody has left, but that Tad, Krystal and David are missing. He goes outside to look for them, but when he opens the door, Bianca is there and she wants her phone. J.R. tells her she got a call from Florida and Adam tells her David has her phone. Just then, Tad, Krystal and David come into the room and Tad tells everybody it's time he told the truth.
Derek finds out there are pictures of Danielle and Reggie kissing and pulls the two into Danielle's room to confront them. Danielle defends them, saying they didn't do anything but kiss, and Reggie asks Derek if he even knows his daughter. Danielle says that Derek is clueless about who she is.
