As they've done in years past, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless will once again take part in the Monte Carlo Television Festival, set to take place in June in the South of France. The five-day-long event will commence on Friday, June 17, with the Opening Ceremony and conclude on Tuesday, June 21, with the presentation of the Golden Nymph Awards.
Cast members and executives from B&B will be attending to celebrate the CBS soap's 35th anniversary, which is being marked with a special screening of the Brooke-centric episode that originally aired in March. The screening will take place on Sunday, June 19, from 1PM to 3PM at the Salle Camille Blanc, Grimaldi Forum, and will be followed by a signing session.
Meanwhile, talent from Y&R -- including Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) and Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) -- will also be attending the event that will also boast a special "soap opera session" set to take place on Saturday, June 18, from 5PM to 6PM. Called Soap & Telenovelas: Building a Success Story Across Decades, the panel will feature showrunners, producers, and executives discussing how they are shaping the future of serial production and creativity.
