Congratulations are in order for Camryn Grimes, who just marked her 25th anniversary at The Young and the Restless.
The beloved actress joined the CBS soap opera in 1997 as Sharon's daughter Cassie Newman. Both the character and the actress were incredibly popular with fans, so it was devastating when Grimes's time in Genoa City came to an end in 2005, with Cassie dying from injuries sustained in a car crash.
Fortunately, Y&R had the good sense to bring the actress back to the canvas in 2014 as Cassie's twin sister, Mariah -- and both fans and the actress' soap opera colleagues have been ecstatic ever since.
The powers that be at Y&R arranged an on-set party to celebrate Grimes' 25th anniversary, with the show's official Twitter handle sharing, "It's always a sweet day on set when we get to celebrate @camryngrimes! Congratulations on 25 years with #YR. Here's to many more!"

In an interview with SoapHub, Grimes recalls her first storyline, which saw Grace Turner (Jennifer Gareis) and Tony Viscardi (Nick Scotti) searching for Cassie, whom Sharon had given up for adoption when she'd been in high school.
"For the first few months, I worked exclusively with Jennifer Gareis and Nick Scotti. Then, Cassie was introduced to Sharon and Nick as her new parents," the actress shares. "With Sharon, she was initially like, 'I don't really know you.' It was well played by the writers."
She continues, "Nick was so much fun. He was playful and silly. Jennifer was kind, loving, warm, and welcoming. I never felt like I was 'working' with adults who were judging me. We were a team and they were helping me and I was helping them. That's how it felt when I was working with Josh and Sharon. We have a history that you see now."
Grimes has earned two Daytime Emmy wins for her work on Y&R, one in the Outstanding Younger Actress category in 2000 as Cassie and one in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category in 2018 as Mariah.
