The Young and the Restless' Max Ehrich (Fenmore Baldwin) has hired a bodyguard and is reportedly seeking legal action after facing a serious security issue.
The Daytime Emmy winner's trouble began when a prominent real estate agent allegedly became obsessed with the actor and pulled a gun on him in a fit of rage after Ehrich rebuffed his sexual advances, reports TMZ. The story says it's not clear what kind of gun was used, and it may have been a pellet gun.
Fearing for his personal safety, Ehrich alerted fans on his social media site that he was going into hiding, later giving the update: "[I'm] safe & secure. I appreciate the messages. Don't take your safety for granted. There really are some sick people out there. Stay safe x."
The actor also took a moment to share that he had been stalked via social media by the Realtor long before the alleged incident with the gun took place.
"The part that's not printed is that I was stalked on Instagram by this person months prior to the incident. Social media is a great tool, but please be careful about sharing your locations," he wrote. "Unfortunately, there are creepy people out there. Live your life, but be cautious."
Ehrich has since come out of hiding and was spotted leaving a Los Angeles law office with a bodyguard in tow. TMZ reports the police are now actively involved in the Y&R actor's case. Keep checking back to Soap Central for updates on this story as they come.
