Christmastime brings lots of cheer, and it's also going to be bringing a brand new Charlie to The Young and the Restless.
Child actor Brandin Stennis will be taking over the role of Cane and Lily's son, beginning Thursday, December 22. The change isn't your typical SORAS situation, however. Current portrayer Aidan Alexander is moving away from Los Angeles and therefore had to part ways with the CBS soap. He last aired on November 22.
"Please #retweet to show Aidan (Charlie) some love! Today was his last ep of @YRInsider," tweeted Alexander's on-screen dad, Daniel Goddard. "Gonna miss u mate so very much! I wish u greatness!"

New portrayer Stennis may be young, but he already has quite a lengthy résumé. His credits include Dr. Professor, The Players, Straight Outta Oz, Ward of the State, Wacko Smacko, and Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas, to name a few.
