Goodbyes are always tough, but it seems the recent departure of The Young and the Resltess' Alicia Coppola (Dr. Meredith Gates) hit costar Miles Gaston Villaneuva (Luca Santori) pretty hard.
Shortly after Coppola's final appearance in Genoa City, Villaneuva took to social media with a very heartfelt farewell to his former cohort. "#tbt being on set with this incredibly profound and vibrant woman, alicia coppola. what a crazy stunning, crazy dynamic, crazy powerful gift she was to the Y&R world, and what a force she is in the acting world, as a whole," he posted along with a photo of the pair. "@alicia_coppola: not only are you talented as a mother**er, you are also incredibly wise, encouraging, generous, honest, joyful, present, and loving. thank you for that. and thank you for your reverberating inspiration, expressed in both your storytelling talents and your beautiful humanity. i am grateful. here's to your next opportunities. up and up and up you go. work it. take no prisoners. fly. see you again, queen, diva, goddess. because we WILL work together some day. until then: besos."
Coppola joined Y&R earlier this year. Fans can look forward to seeing her next in projects like the TV movie Stay and the film Cowgirl's Story opposite DAYS star Jordi Vilasuso.
