It's pretty tough to be shocked while watching reality TV, considering many of the series push the limits practically every episode. But soap fans were certainly sent spinning when none other than former The Young and the Restless star Vail Bloom (ex-Heather Stevens) showed up on this week's episode of Bravo TV's Vanderpump Rules.
The actress -- who starred on Y&R from 2007 to 2010 -- debuted as a new waitress at Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood restaurant, SUR. As if that wasn't enough to make jaws drop, Bloom then revealed during her interview that she slipped into the world of partying and drugs around the time she was on Y&R -- which may be why she unexpectedly left the CBS soap despite winning over the show's fans.
The actress claimed to Vanderpump that she's since cleaned up her act, meditates on a regular basis, and is looking to put that part of her life behind her. But when she reveals that she graduated from Princeton with a degree in architecture, her prospective boss worries that with her looks, education, and past experience, she won't stay on the job long. So was Bloom hired in the end? And will she be appearing on future episodes of the reality show? Check out the clip below to find out, and tune in to Vanderpump Rules Mondays at 9PM ET/PT on Bravo.
