Be sure to tune in to a special edition of The Young and the Restless on Friday, November 10th. In this episode the residents of Genoa City will speculate about 13 different scenarios of how Carmen Mesta met her untimely demise.
On October 27th, Carmen's lifeless body was found outside the newly opened Club Indigo. Carmen had been killed by a blow to the head and then dumped in the alley behind the club.
In true whodunit fashion, there are more than a few suspects. The list of possible murderers includes Drucilla Winters, a co-worker who was furious over Carmen's friendship with Dru's husband, Neil (Kristoff St. John). The criminal charges and resulting loss of Dru's job enraged the entire Winters' family, including Neil and Dru's (Victoria Rowell) grown children, Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton McClure). In addition, Carmen may or may not have discovered some very damaging information about some high powered executives at Newman Enterprises - both Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) had secrets they wanted hidden, and they weren't the only ones who may have killed to make sure the truth never got out. Other suspects include the Winters lawyer, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Brad's wife Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
On Friday, November 10, viewers will have the opportunity to go through all the suspects along with the characters, and see each scenario play out. All in all, poor Carmen is killed 13 times in this episode, and by the end, we may have a clearer idea of who the killer is - or we may find ourselves looking in a whole different direction.
