Tamara Tunie was born on March 14 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Tamara originated the role of Jessica Griffin on As The World Turns in 1987 and played it until 1995.
Tamara received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University. She has appeared in numerous stage productions. She's had roles in the feature films Snake Eyes, Rising Sun, The Peacemaker, and The Devil's Advocate, to name a few. She often appears on NYPD Blue as Lt. Fancy's wife. Tunie also had a recurring role on 24 as Alberta Green and Law and Order: Special Victim Unit as Melinda Warner.
