The daughter of actress Judy Pace, Julia Pace Mitchell arrived on the theatrical scene in 2003 after earning her Master's of Fine Arts from The National Theatre Conservatory. She also studied classical theatre at Oxford University and improvisational comedy with The Groundlings.
Mitchell was soon featured in The McCarter Theatre's production of Stick Fly, as well as The Ohio State Murders at The Duke on New York City's 42nd Street.
Also a playwright, Mitchell received a NAACP Theatre Award for her one-woman show The Interview, and was nominated for the award five times for her work on Hills Above the Hood.
Mitchell currently lives in both New York and California.
