John H. Martin, a native of Turlock, California, attended the University of Florida where he received a degree in Political Science.
No stranger to daytime, John previously starred on the daytime drama series One Life to Live as Jon Russell and Sunset Beach. He has also appeared on Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless, and General Hospital. His other television series credits include guest starring roles on Pacific Palisades, Seventh Heaven, FBI: The Untold Stories, Three's Company, T.J. Hooker, Emerald Point, N.A.S., Lottery, American Playhouse, Love Boat, Archie Bunker's Place, and Columbo.
John also starred in numerous telefilms including Stalking Back: The Anello Family and Praying Mantis. His feature film credits include starring roles in El Norte, Black Roses, and Fire In The Night.
In addition to acting, John operates his own investment consulting firm. During his spare time John enjoys reading and body surfing.
