Nathaniel Marston was born in Torrington, CT. He and his mother, Elizabeth, lived in five states before moving to Kauai, HI, when he was three. They remained in Hawaii until he was ten. After that, Nathaniel and his mother resided in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, and Los Angeles -- again -- before he finally graduated from Beverly Hills High School.
In March 1998, Marston made his daytime debut as Eddie Silva on As the World Turns. He remained in the role until January 2000. The actor debuted as Al Holden in December 2001. The character was written off in 2003, but fan outcry was so strong that the actor was brought back as a new character, Michael McBain, in November 2003.
In 2004, Soap Central readers voted Marston as the Outstanding Supporting Actor in the annual "Dankies" Awards. Marston received seven additional nominations in various categories between 2004 and 2008.
Outside of daytime, Marston's credits included Love Is All There Is, with Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna; and The Craft, Ordinary Sinner, and, most recently, Ciao America, with Paul Sorvino. On television, he was a series regular on Matt Waters.
On October 30, 2015, Marston was involved in a single-car crash and was critically injured. On November 11, 2015, he died of injuries sustained in the crash.
