Jill Larson joined the cast of All My Children in November 1989.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Larson earned a degree in communications from Hunter College. Early in her career, Larson focused her attention on stage performances, appearing in The Glass Menagerie, Gypsy, Agnes of God, and other productions.
Upon turning her efforts towards television, Larson quickly found guest-starring roles on Kate & Allie and The Equalizer. Eventually, she landed the long-term role of Ursula Blackwell on One Life to Live.
Larson completed her acting portfolio by appearing in several motion pictures, including White Squall and 28 Days.
Larson is a founding member and president of GLM Productions, a theatrical production company. Through that company, Ms. Larson produced the off-Broadway comedy revue, Serious Bizness, and co-produced the documentary film, Gibbs Garden -- a cinematic portrait of a painter stricken with AIDS, which was nominated for a student Academy Award. Ms. Larson later co-curated an exhibit of that painter's work.
Larson, a single mom, divides her time between her New York City apartment and a weekend home in Pennsylvania.
