Fans of Nashville were pleasantly surprised when CMT picked up the series after its ABC cancellation, and they now have more good news to celebrate. Soap opera alum Will Chase (ex-Dr. Jason Nance, One Life to Live; ex-Dr. Linn, As the World Turns; ex-A.D.A. Phillips, All My Children) is reprising his role as Luke Wheeler.
Hot off his run on Broadway's Something Rotten, the actor will be back for a guest starring role on the county music series. His Nashville costar Chris Carmack broke the news on Twitter with the tweet, "It's always a good day opening up for Luke Wheeler!"
