Lucy Johnson, CBS's senior vice president of daytime, children's programs and special projects, will leave her post at the end of January. Johnson has been with the network for 14 years.
"What Lucy has achieved with our daytime lineup may never happen again," said CBS president Leslie Moonves. "To maintain a position of leadership for more than 13 years in any field is an unbelievable accomplishment. To do it in television, where viewing habits can change dramatically, is even more impressive."
Reports have Port Charles writer Barbara Bloom in talks with CBS to take over Johnson's slot.
