Grant Aleksander (Phillip Spaulding) is said to be telling friends that he is leaving Guiding Light when his contract expires in March.
If the actor does leave Springfield, it won't be the first time. Aleksander has left the show on two previous occasions.
Aleksander reportedly has been frustrated with his character's direction of late. The final straw, say sources, was the show's decision to take his on-screen adoptive dad, Ron Raines (Alan) off contract -- a move that did not sit well with the Daytime Emmy nominee.
