Beloved daytime star Ashley Jones (Parker Forsyth, General Hospital; ex-Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Megan Dennison, The Young and the Restless) is one busy bee these days. Not only has she been stirring up trouble in Port Charles and writing as a celebrity blogger for People, the new mom reveals she's currently in New York City, taping a guest appearance for The Dr. Oz Show.
The former True Blood star took to Twitter to share the news that she's dropping by the syndicated program's NYC studio today to film a segment. She didn't offer any hint as to what she might talk about with the famous doctor who got his start on The Oprah Winfrey Show, but as soap fans know, daytime stars have made excellent guests in the past: Jones' GH costar Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) appeared on an episode of The Dr. Oz Show in February to discuss his long battle with bipolar disorder, while Days of our Lives star Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami Brady) appeared on an episode in May to discuss how her identity was stolen via a life changing Internet scam.
Love NYC. About to tape @DrOz! On my way now. pic.twitter.com/st9pV6VMDa
