Olivia Rose Keegan has gone from stirring up trouble as devious Days of our Lives teen Claire Brady to stirring up trouble as a new character on season two of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (yes, that's the official title of the show).
According to TV Line, the NBC soap alum will be stepping into the shoes of Lily, "an energetic and adorable East High freshman whose sweetness masks her insecurity and highly competitive nature."
Keegan will be joining Roman Banks, who has also joined the teenage drama as Howie, "a hyper-smart, adorkable high school junior who works at Big Red's family's pizza shop."
The first season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series followed a high school drama club and their faculty advisers as they worked their way toward the opening night of their school's first-ever production of High School Musical: The Musical. New romances blossomed, old friendships were tested while new ones formed, rivalries flared, and lives were changed forever as the students discovered the transformative power that only high school theater can provide.
Keegan joined DAYS as Belle and Shawn's musically inclined daughter in 2015, when the fictional teen moved back to Salem from Hong Kong. She left the soap in January of 2019 but made a brief return visit for a special Halloween episode that same year. Keegan's résumé prior to soap operas includes guest-starring appearances on shows like Modern Family, The Thundermans, Little Shrink, and Growing Up Fisher. She also appeared on All American.
