Days of our Lives viewers are going bananas over the show's new DOOLMoji app that gives fans the ability to use Salem-centric emojis in all their techie communication, but tiny bitch slap and levitation symbols aren't the only exciting things to happen in conjunction with the innovative release. Some major casting news has perhaps slipped through in the flurry of excitement over the app, as well.
DAYS star Kristian Alfonoso (Hope Brady) shared a video about the DOOLMoji app that features Lauren Koslow (Kate Roberts) playing with the cool tool, and iconic One Life to Live actress Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian Lord) responded with a message that stopped daytime fans in their tracks. After all, the message makes it sound as if she'll be appearing on the NBC drama in early 2018.
"APP? APP! if you have an APPtitude for APPS & an APPetite for #DOOL:) DO this thang!" she wrote. "I pledge by JANUARY hint hint I WILL APPly myself;-)"

Twitter users immediately began sharing their excitement over the news, and the consensus is everyone would be thrilled if she truly is heading to Salem.
Unfortunately, Strasser debunked the rumor she accidentally started with a follow-up tweet, writing: "I'm not going to be on #DOOL-#GH-#YR or #BB I'll be WATCHING them-Rooting 4 my faves!"
Candace! TY 4 sweet #TWEET OF REASON:) I'm not going to be on #DOOL-#GH-#YR or #BB I'll be WATCHING them-Rooting 4 my faves!#SupportTheFour

That being said, many fans are hoping Strasser's follow-up tweet is an attempt to do damage control after accidentally letting the cat out of the bag too soon. If her original tweet does indeed mean she'll be joining DAYS in the months ahead, daytime audiences would likely go wild. The Daytime Emmy winner never failed to entertain as OLTL's Dorian, and the move would reunite her with former OLTL head writer Ron Carlivati, who's known for doing a damn good job writing for vivacious villainesses.
A DAYS representative has yet to comment on the casting rumor, so keep checking back to Soap Central for updates.
