Congratulations are in order for Days of our Lives alum Blake Berris (ex-Nick Fallon). The Emmy-nominated actor married actress/writer/director Alexandra McGuinness over the weekend in a beautiful ceremony attended by some of the world's biggest stars.
Berris' new wife is the daughter of former U2 manager Paul McGuinness, so naturally, he and the band's lead singer, Bono, were in attendance at the picturesque ceremony held at the Killiskey Parish Church at Nun's Cross near Ashford in Ireland, not far from the bride's family home. The Edge and other members of the U2 family also attended, as did Berris' former DAYS costars Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail Deveraux) and Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea Brady).
In fact, Mansi took to Instagram with a photo from the wedding, writing: "Unforgettable in every way. The wedding and the couple."
In an interesting bit of wedding news, Bono was reportedly asked to sing the national anthem at the McGregor/Mayweather extravaganza in Las Vegas, but the singer turned the offer down to attend the couple's wedding.
Berris and McGuinness may now be newlyweds, but they're also coworkers. McGuinness is the director of Berris' latest film, Highway, being shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
