JANUARY 1999

Ridge and Taylor argued over Pierce and Brooke. Despite Ridge's objections, Brooke headed to Genoa City to try to convince Victor Newman to let Jabot develop a fragrance for Forrester. Rick said goodbye to Kimberly and went to see Amber. Macy found out that she had a sister.
January 11 to 15, 1999
Amber threw a dinner party and invited CJ and Kimberly. Kimberly tearfully said goodbye to Rick and wished him luck with Amber and the baby. Macy reunited Sally and Adam/Myles. Adam explained his disappearance to Sally, who broke down but threw him out once she found out about his remarriage and his daughter.
January 18 to 22, 1999
Adam apologized to Sally and Macy for hurting them and prepared to leave town with Kimberly. Taylor told Ridge she wanted to have another baby. Brooke prepared for Victor Newman's arrival in Los Angeles. Amber told Kimberly it was best for all concerned that she move back to Nantucket, and Rick asked Eric to sign the consent for his marriage to Amber.
January 25 to 29, 1999
Amber started having contractions and was taken to the hospital, where Kimberly comforted her. Macy tried to convince Sally to reconcile with Adam, who agreed to stay in town. Victor conspired with Brooke to make Ridge jealous. Ridge and Taylor argued over Brooke, Pierce, and the future of their marriage.

February 1 to 5, 1999
Ridge asked Brooke to accept his marriage, and Brooke asked him to stop loving her. Sally agreed to give Adam a chance for Macy's sake, but after Sally learned that Adam had been Spectra's anonymous benefactor, her anger and mistrust erupted on him. During an ultrasound, the doctor announced that Amber was carrying a boy, and Kimberly fled the room in tears.
February 8 to 12, 1999
Amber learned that her baby was a boy; she also asked the doctor how to tell who the father was. CJ confided in Darla that Raymond could be the father of Amber's baby. Darla and CJ headed to Santa Barbara to tell Raymond that the baby could be his. Eric and Brooke finally signed the parental consent for the marriage. Stephanie gave Amber the wedding dress she had worn when she married Eric.
February 15 to 19, 1999
Raymond learned that Amber's baby could be his. Raymond confronted Amber and tried to get her to call off the wedding. Kimberly took Amber's place at the wedding rehearsal. Sally confronted Amber just as she was headed down the aisle.
February 22 to 26, 1999
Sally tried to stop Rick and Amber's wedding but was stopped before she could have her say. Kimberly cried as Rick and Amber made their vows to one another. Myles was disturbed to see Thorne and Macy together, and he told Thorne to stay away from his daughter. When Brooke refused to leave to give Ridge and Taylor some privacy, Taylor told Ridge that she was pregnant. Brooke was shocked.

March 1 to 5, 1999
After the wedding, Rick and Amber moved into Stephanie's guesthouse. Rick admitted to Stephanie that he still had feelings for Kimberly, but he was going to give his marriage all that he had to give. However, he resisted the chance to be intimate with Amber on their wedding night. Pierce declared his love for Taylor. She broke it to him that she was pregnant and loved her husband. She said that under the circumstances, she could not work with him any longer. Macy wanted to tell Kimberly the truth.
March 8 to 12, 1999
Brooke and Stephanie argued about Rick and Amber's living arrangement. Amber told Brooke that Amber, not Brooke, was the number one woman in Rick's life. Raymond saw the sad Kimberly and Rick together at the coffeehouse, and he became determined to let Rick know the truth. Sally and Adam had another talk about their past, and Adam asked Sally to reach out and be a mother figure to Kimberly.
March 15 to 19, 1999
Brooke and Pierce went to Café Russe for dinner. Brooke later told Taylor that she wouldn't be interfering with Taylor's marriage any longer; she realized Ridge's true feelings. Kimberly learned that Macy was her sister, and she didn't take the news too well. Lauren gave Amber a makeover.
March 22 to 26, 1999
Lauren and Gladys gave Amber a manners lesson and a hair makeover for a date with Rick at the Café Russe. Eric advised Brooke to cut Amber some slack, but Brooke didn't believe that Amber had changed. C.J. warned Amber that, if she were carrying Raymond's child, it would be obvious the moment it was born. C.J. and Amber cooked up a scheme to keep Rick away from the childbirth.
March 29 to April 2, 1999
CJ offered Amber a plan; Amber went to visit her mother in Death Valley. Rick found Kimberly and comforted his devastated friend. Sally and Myles grew closer as Sally helped him to deal with Kimberly's rejection. Ridge and Taylor invited Brooke out for dinner, hoping that she and Taylor could become closer.

Amber went to Furnace Creek to see her mother and said that she wanted to have the baby there. Ridge and Taylor had dinner at Café Russe with Brooke and Pierce. Pierce asked Brooke to stay at his place for the night. CJ learned about his new family. Raymond demanded to know where Amber was so he could go there. Rick was headed for a surprise visit to Furnace Creek.
April 12 to 16, 1999
Raymond learned that Amber was in Furnace Creek, and he went there. Rick also went to Furnace Creek and met Amber's mother and other relatives. After Rick left for Los Angeles, Amber went into labor. Brooke went to Taylor for advice. Later she grilled Kimberly for information about what Amber could be hiding. CJ kissed Kimberly.
April 19 to 23, 1999
Kimberly told Macy about her feelings for Rick. Macy urged her to get on with her life without Rick. Brooke planted doubts in Rick's mind about Amber and Raymond. Amber struggled with childbirth while Tawny frantically tried to find the midwife. There was a blackout just as the baby was born.
April 26 to 30, 1999
Brooke and Kimberly held out hope that Amber was actually pregnant with Raymond's child. Amber gave birth to Rick's son, but the infant died shortly afterward. Tawny learned from the midwife that Becky was giving up her newborn for adoption, and Tawny convinced the midwife to let Amber have the baby. When Rick called, the morose Amber admitted that the baby had been born.

May 3 to 7, 1999
Amber and her mother headed for Los Angeles with the baby. While she was sick at the roadside, Brooke was telling Ridge, Taylor, and Eric that she was sure Raymond was the baby's father. Rick got the good news and spread it around. Everyone met at the Forrester mansion to wait for the new arrival. Rick met his son. Brooke and Amber had an angry face-to-face confrontation. CJ took the prom to Kimberly and vowed to himself that he'd be waiting when Kimberly got over Rick.

Brooke got close to finding out what had really happened between Raymond and Amber. Sally and Adam joined forces to put Spectra back on the map. Sally offered Clarke a job. Amber worried about her future and the future of the baby. The Forresters prepared for the fall fashion show.

CJ and Kimberly grew closer. Brooke revealed Amber's one night with Raymond to the family and ordered her and Tawny out of the house and the family. Amber tried to explain what had happened with Raymond to Rick, but he was so disgusted with her that he walked out. Tawny begged Amber not to give up. Rick got tested for HIV.
May 24 to 28, 1999
Rick tested negative for HIV. Rick decided to give his marriage to Amber another chance. Brooke could not believe Rick was willing to forgive Amber and warned Amber to watch her step. Adam and Sally bought their way into the Forrester fall fashion show. Thorne proposed to Macy.
May 31 to June 4, 1999
The Spectra clan was excited when, after a talk with Stephanie, Clarke contracted with them to design one last fall collection. Thorne proposed to Macy, but she put the marriage plans on hold until she talked to her family. Adam was fervently against the marriage, but Macy asserted that nothing would separate her and Thorne again. Kimberly and C.J. shared a brief kiss, and Brooke and Thorne spent an evening together, trying to forget about Amber and the proposal. Brooke and Thorne wound up skinning-dipping in the ocean, and Thorne pulled Brooke in for a passionate kiss. The next day at work, they agreed to forget the kiss; however, the passion between them exploded again, and they decided to forget later. The two kissed as Macy arrived in Thorne's office. Rick surprised Amber with HIV test appointments for her and Little Eric. Amber refused to let the hospital draw the baby's blood until the staff threatened to report her, because blood tests were a requirement for newborns. When the test results arrived, Amber was relieved that she didn't have HIV, but she panicked as the doctor remarked that Little Eric didn't share his parents' blood type.

Macy agreed to marry Thorne, and she and Thorne announced the engagement to their families. Rick told his family to accept Amber as his wife -- or else. Amber gave Rick and his friends a graduation party and asked Kimberly for help. Clarke resigned from Forrester. Brooke and Thorne could not stop thinking about each other. Tawny panicked when she noticed Little Eric's birthmark.
June 14 to 18, 1999
Rick and Amber grew close. Tawny tried to keep Becky from finding out the truth about her baby. Kimberly dreamed of Rick. Adam and Sally, and Eric and Stephanie prepared for battle. Thorne and Macy were stunned. Taylor and Ridge prepared for the results of the ultrasound.
June 21 to 25, 1999
Taylor and Ridge discovered they were having twins. Macy and Brooke argued over the fall fashion show. Ridge told Brooke the news about the babies. C.J. and Kimberly, and Rick and Amber double-dated. Brooke invited Thorne over for a "working" dinner and declared her love for him. Against Tawny's wishes, Becky headed to Los Angeles to see Amber and her new baby.
June 28 to July 2, 1999
Becky arrived in town, much to Amber's dismay. Amber ordered her to leave, but she feigned a sprained ankle, and Stephanie and Eric took her to the main house. Kimberly and Rick discussed what could have been, and Kimberly admitted to him that she was having a hard time letting go. CJ was jealous of Kimberly's feelings for Rick, and Rick realized he had to make a choice. Determined to make his marriage work, Rick went home for a romantic night with his wife.

JULY 1999
July 5 to 9, 1999
Brooke announced a contest for a new supermodel for the fashion show. Amber and Kimberly both applied, but Brooke chose Kimberly. Amber went home and complained to Rick about his mother. The Spectra gang worried that they would not be ready for the fashion show and would be disgraced. CJ had a plan to make sure the Spectras would come out on top. As Macy and Thorne prepared for their wedding, Brooke made one last attempt with Thorne. She told him she loved him, and she asked him not to marry Macy. Even though he did have feelings for her, Thorne told Brooke that he wanted a happy life with kids and a future, and based one her track record with the Forrester men, he knew that he could never have that kind of life with Brooke. He told her to move on with her life because he was going to marry Macy after the fashion show.
July 12 to 16, 1999
The fashion show began. The Forresters began with an excellent collection, but technical as well as other problems arose, and Spectra, much to CJ's delight, was quick to step in and save the day. The Forresters were upset, but hoped that their reputation would be restored when Kimberly modeled the showstopper. Unfortunately, the train of the wedding dress got caught on the hook CJ had planted, and the show ended with Kimberly in her underwear. The Forresters were shocked by the events and blamed the Spectras. Adam attacked Eric for embarrassing his daughter. Thorne was so distraught that he canceled his wedding to Macy, telling her that their families would always be at war. Brooke was surprised by Thorne's action and went to his house to comfort him. She tried to seduce him, but Macy unexpectedly showed up.
July 19 to 23, 1999
The Spectras celebrated over their victory at the fashion show. Macy attempted to reconcile with Thorne and asked him to marry her that night. Thorne told Macy that he did not want to discuss their relationship that night and asked her to leave. She refused and eventually caught Brooke hiding under the bed in her lingerie. She accused Brooke of trying to steal her man and told her that she was not the kind of woman Thorne would want. Macy begged Thorne to tell her what was going on. He told Macy that he loved her, regardless of how things looked, but she saw that something had occurred between Brooke and Thorne. She slapped Brooke and tearfully ran out. Becky realized that she missed her baby, and since Amber did not want her around, she decided to go home and check on the baby. Amber got nervous and asked Becky to stay for the summer. Kimberly couldn't get Rick off her mind. Taylor found her dream house.
July 26 to 30, 1999
Taylor had contact with a homeless man who later died of tuberculosis. CJ took Becky out on a date, and after a few drinks, they hit it off. Rick and Amber spent some quality time together. Thorne tried to contact with Macy, who told him to leave her alone. Stephanie tried to get Macy and Thorne together by going to speak to Macy. When she got to Spectra, Macy inadvertently told Stephanie what had happened when she showed up at Thorne's house. Stephanie was outraged. Brooke invited Thorne to the cabin at Big Bear, but he said no. Stephanie burst into Thorne's office, demanding an answer regarding his relationship with Brooke. Thorne admitted to Stephanie that he loved Macy, but if there were no Macy, there would be a Brooke. Stephanie could not believe Thorne's feelings about Brooke after all Brooke had done to their family. She stormed out of Thorne's office on a rampage, vowing that Brooke would never to do Thorne what she had done to Eric and Ridge.

AUGUST 1999

Brooke planned a romantic evening for her and Thorne at Big Bear. Stephanie found out about Brooke's plan and vowed to stop her from destroying Thorne's life. Stephanie was outraged when she got to the cabin, and she attacked Brooke. Thorne interceded and tried to calm his mother down. Taylor and Ridge learned that she might have come into contact with tuberculosis. Kimberly and Rick spent time together. Amber and Tawny worked together to get Becky out Amber's life and away from the baby.
August 9 to 13, 1999
Stephanie tried to stab Brooke, but Thorne stopped her and took her from Big Bear back to the Forrester house. Taylor was tested, and she did have tuberculosis. She and Ridge were devastated. She was admitted to the hospital, but she refused to take anything that would harm the babies. She was happy to see her father, Jack, in town. Amber arranged for Becky to interview for a position at Forrester International, but was shocked at her appearance. Rick and Kimberly were away at college orientation and felt the heat.
August 16 to 20, 1999
Rick was shocked at Kimberly's suggestion that he divorce Amber. Lauren planned to teach Becky how to carry herself. Rick and Kimberly spent the night together, holding each other in bed. Becky complained because Amber wouldn't let her near the baby. Stephanie talked to Eric about Becky, and mentioned to him that she had put a baby up for adoption recently. Eric was impressed with the change in Becky. Ridge learned that Taylor was infected with a drug-resistant strain of TB, and she could not take the stronger drugs.
August 23 to 27, 1999
Kimberly was suspicious of Amber's motives for getting Becky a job in Paris. Taylor and Ridge argued over Taylor's decision not to take the medication. Thorne learned that Taylor had not responded to the antibiotics. Thorne tried to resist Brooke's sexual advances, but Brooke was persistent. Becky was shocked when she changed Eric's diaper. Brooke and Stephanie argued. Becky took off with Eric. Later, she put Eric in danger.
August 30 to September 3, 1999
Becky hid out in a motel. Tawny flipped out. Brooke was sure there was something more going on than what Amber was saying. The doctor called and advised Ridge to get to the hospital. Becky called Amber. Eric decided Kimberly would be the perfect spokesperson for Forrester's new Princess line. As Becky was about to leave the motel, she noticed the police around her car.

Amber and Becky met face-to-face and argued about the baby. Kimberly began work with Giovanni, who liked her innocence but wanted to draw out her sex appeal. Rick questioned where Amber had taken off to and why she wasn't answering her cell phone. Brooke tried to get Rick to see Amber's pattern. Becky made her final decision.
September 13 to 17, 1999
While Amber and Tawny were worried about whether Becky would take her flight to Paris, Brooke grilled Becky for answers about Amber. Amber interrupted and convinced Becky to go to Paris. Ridge was distraught over Taylor's decisions regarding her health and her request to see Brooke. When Brooke arrived, Taylor asked Brooke to be there for Ridge and his children if Taylor didn't make it through labor.
September 20 to 24, 1999
Brooke refused to hear of Taylor dying, but as Taylor had requested, Brooke stood by Ridge's side in the hospital during Taylor's precarious labor. Stephanie accused Brooke of being a vulture circling Taylor's family, and the two bickered as the first twin made her way out of the birth canal. Stephanie and Brooke put the battle aside when, after the second twin arrived, Taylor flatlined. As Eric, Stephanie, Brooke, and Ridge sobbed, the doctors tried to revive Taylor. Taylor floated out of her body and encountered George, the homeless man, in his angelic form. The two discussed the larger meaning of death and that her great act of kindness to him would reward her with a better life. As Ridge prayed over Taylor's lifeless body, her spirit returned to it. To everyone's relief, the twins were strong, and Taylor started treatment for the tuberculosis. Macy talked Thorne into having a date at Insomnia, and Darla helped Macy get dolled up to compete against Brooke. Brooke knew about the date that evening, but still agreed to have coffee at Insomnia with Giovanni. Macy and Brooke bickered out of Thorne's sight, and then Macy vowed to make Brooke sorry for ever stepping foot in the coffeehouse that night.
September 27 to October 1, 1999
Brooke accepted Macy's singing challenge at Insomnia and wound up humiliated by the results; however, Thorne declared his love for Brooke later that night. When Thorne admitted to Stephanie that he loved Brooke, Stephanie collapsed on the floor. Suspecting that Stephanie had suffered a stroke, the paramedics rushed her to the hospital. Taylor's antibiotics took effect, and the doctor allowed her to hold her twins for the first time. Adam warned Sally to be leery of Clark.

The twins were named. One of them was named after a close relative before bad news was received. Unaware that Thorne had sworn his love to another, Macy rushed to the hospital and into his arms, offering support and sympathy at a bad time in the Forrester family's life. Brooke and Thorne decided to keep their relationship secret from the rest of the family. However, Ridge discovered them in an intimate position, and his reaction was extreme. Eric realized the mistake he had made many years before when he had separated from Stephanie. CJ and Amber discussed Becky just before Becky called from Paris.
October 11 to 15, 1999
Sally and Macy visited Stephanie at the hospital. Sally was shocked at the appearance of her "friend" and gave her a pep talk, saying that she would not let her just lie there doing nothing. Ridge confronted Thorne and Brooke, blaming Thorne and accusing him of taking advantage of Brooke after she lost Ridge. Brooke finally convinced Ridge that the two were in love. She begged him not to take it away from her. Later, Thorne and Brooke took their relationship to a new level. Adam was shocked to return home and find his bikini-clad daughter in Giovanni's arms. While pretending innocence, Giovanni taunted Adam by touching and caressing Kimberly. Later, Giovanni introduced Kimberly to wine.
October 18 to 22, 1999
Brooke went to see the comatose Stephanie and told her that she loved Thorne. Stephanie awakened and tried to choke Brooke. Stephanie, fully awake, said that she couldn't remember anything past visiting Macy. She was left paralyzed on the left side. Eric told his sons that he had made a terrible mistake when he divorced Stephanie; he wanted to make it up to her by asking her to remarry him. He planned to take Stephanie home with him and care for her.
October 25 to 29, 1999
Brooke went to Stephanie's room to tell her the truth about herself and Thorne. She didn't know that the doctor has just finished calling Eric and her sons to tell them that another shock could kill her. Thorne arrived just in time to get Brooke out of the room. He made her promise that she would never go to Stephanie's room again, and she would not tell Stephanie about them. Brooke went to Eric to plead her cause, but he shouted at her and told her that he wanted her to stay away from his family from that point on. Eric called the family together at Stephanie's bedside and asked Stephanie to marry him. When she said yes, he called in a minister, and they had the ceremony right then and there. Thorne served as the best man, and Macy, the only non-family member present, as matron of honor. When Brooke heard about it, she was angry at the way the family had manipulated Thorne. She went to Ridge, who accused her of trying to get to him through Thorne. He even kissed her to prove his point, but Brooke told him that she had felt nothing, and he had to get used to that.

Brooke told Ridge she wouldn't give up her happiness with Thorne to make Stephanie happy. Meanwhile, Stephanie learned the extent of her paralysis. Amber wondered about Giovanni and Kimberly. In Paris, Raymond's casual comment about Rick's interest in Kimberly led Becky to call Amber for more information on the couple.
November 8 to 12, 1999
Stephanie finally went home, but she insisted that everyone go about their business, as she would be okay. Macy learned that Stephanie was going home and wondered why Thorne hadn't told her so she could be there. She decided to go to Stephanie's house to welcome her home. Stephanie insisted that Thorne take Macy to dinner. While Thorne and Macy had dinner, Brooke went to the same restaurant with Megan. Thorne decided to tell his mother about him and Brooke. Tawny went to Paris and confronted Becky. She soon learned that Becky had the upper hand, and she caved in.
November 15 to 19, 1999
Thorne imagined that telling Stephanie about Brooke and him would lead to Stephanie's death, and he decided to hold off on talking to his mother. Eric called and reprimanded Thorne and Brooke for their relationship. Kimberly confided in Brooke about a mysterious interview by a French reporter, and Brooke put Kimberly on a flight to Paris to talk to Becky. Kimberly's verbal confrontation with Amber got physical, but neither it nor Adam's wishes kept Kimberly from going to Paris. Tawny and Amber finally emailed photos to Becky, and Tawny urged Amber to take action before she lost her husband.
November 22 to 26, 1999
Tawny failed to convince Amber to get pregnant before she lost her husband, and Brooke failed to persuade Rick that his loveless marriage didn't have a prayer. Adam figured that Brooke had put Kimberly up to going to Paris to see Becky. Due to his Forrester hatred, he revealed the trip to Amber and offered to help her, because they had the same goal of keeping Rick and Kimberly apart. Becky grew increasingly agitated each day that past without her receiving photos of Little Eric. Kimberly arrived in Paris and bore down on Becky to get the truth about Amber. Becky received a call from Amber, and Kimberly and Becky taunted Amber about the secret getting out. After the call, Becky claimed there was actually no secret to tell Kimberly. Kimberly left, but listened outside the door as Becky called Amber to say that Becky had kept the secret, so Amber owed her. As Amber promised to stop listening to Tawny and cooperate with Becky, Kimberly vowed to find out what Amber was hiding. Taylor and Ridge felt excruciatingly awkward upon hearing Macy go on about her and Thorne during her visit with the twins. The couple wished they could tell Macy the truth about Thorne and Brooke, and Ridge wondered what was wrong with his little brother.
November 29 to December 3, 1999
Brooke sought Taylor's advice about how to get through to Ridge and Eric, but Taylor advised Brooke to forge a healthy relationship with Stephanie before Stephanie learned about Brooke and Thorne. Brooke thought it was an impossible feat; however, she took flowers to Stephanie's doorstep, only to have the wheelchair-bound Stephanie kick the door shut on her. Brooke persisted despite Stephanie's warning to stay away. Eric and Ridge insisted that Thorne end the relationship with Brooke. Thorne agreed about keeping it from Stephanie, but blamed Eric and Ridge's obsessions with Brooke for Stephanie's pain. Ridge was unhappy when Taylor said she'd encouraged Brooke to reconcile with Stephanie. He rushed to the mansion in time to stop Brooke from losing her temper with the surly Stephanie, and he ordered Brooke not to go near his mother again. Becky tried to be satisfied with the pictures of Little Eric that Amber had emailed her, and she assured Amber that Little Eric was in the right place. Kimberly vowed to Adam and Rick that she'd unveil Amber's secret, and then she confronted Amber and Tawny. As the trio bickered, the baby cried, and Kimberly realized that Little Eric was at the center of the secret. To Kimberly's surprise, Tawny pulled a gun on her.

Kimberly ran out as Amber argued with Tawny about pulling out a gun. Kimberly went straight to Rick about the incident, and Rick went home to throw Tawny out. After an intense conversation with Amber, Rick decided to remain married to her. Brooke was determined to win Stephanie over -- even if it meant giving Stephanie a pedicure with a smile. After taking heat from Eric about her advice to Brooke, Taylor tried to convince Brooke that she had "folie a deux" syndrome. Macy set out to have fun with Thorne in the darkroom at Forrester, but unwittingly, she wound up making out with Giovanni instead.
December 13 to 17, 1999
Brooke rejected Taylor's warnings that her relationship with Thorne threatened Stephanie, and said that Taylor, Ridge, and Eric could "all go to hell." Later, Brooke continued trying to win Stephanie's approval, and agreed to polish the silver as her next challenge. Rick asked Kimberly to stop trying to uncover Amber's secret. Later, after they made love, Amber suggested to Rick that they renew their wedding vows. Stephanie encouraged Macy to get Thorne to commit her. Suzanne watched Becky holding a photo of baby Eric.
December 20 to 24, 1999
Rick and Amber renewed their vows, to Kimberly's dismay. Ridge and Eric figured out that Stephanie had planned a surprise wedding for Thorne and Macy the same night of the vows renewal ceremony, but before Ridge could alert Thorne, Macy and Stephanie sprang it on Thorne. As Thorne struggled to get out of it, Ridge and Eric herded him away to pressure him to make the commitment. Suspecting something was going on at the mansion that night, Brooke called there, and Helen let it slip that Macy and Thorne were getting married right then. Brooke arrived at the house in time to see Thorne at the altar, telling Macy that he couldn't marry her. Adam almost brawled with Thorne about it, but Ridge pulled Thorne away. In private, Brooke consoled Thorne, who hadn't told his family that Brooke was the reason he couldn't marry Macy. Becky called the mansion, and Helen let her speak to Little Eric. Becky was astonished when the boy seemed to say, "Mama." On Christmas Eve, Becky talked to a picture of Little Eric about a bear she planned to give him the next time she saw him. Thorne and Brooke spent an intimate holiday evening together, while the Forresters gathered at Ridge and Taylor's new house.
December 27 to 31, 1999
Brooke visited Stephanie, and Eric urged her to let go of Thorne. Stephanie patronized Brooke's efforts to be friends and suggested that Brooke scrub the floor for her. Eric had thought he'd convinced Brooke to end it with Thorne, and using the office intercom, Eric and Ridge eavesdropped on Brooke and Thorne. The men expected Brooke to break up with Thorne, but were livid when she instead suggested that she and Thorne get away to Italy. Suzanne, a single mother put Becky on the spot when she said she thought that any mother giving her baby up for adoption was selfish. Becky tried to defend the conflicted mothers, but wound up fainting. When Suzanne took Becky home to rest, Suzanne saw that the place was plastered with pictures of Little Eric. Becky reveled that Little Eric was her son, not Amber's. Becky and Suzanne later learned that Amber, Rick, and Little Eric planned to go to Venice. Suzanne said it was fate and noted that Becky didn't even need to return to the States to get her son back.
