It looks like The Bold and the Beautiful's Forresters are headed back to Monte Carlo this summer, and they'll get off to a comedic start with their new pilot named Captain Deuce Stevens, played by Tom Arnold.
Expect to see Arnold late next month on the Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31, episodes when Ridge, Brooke, and Steffy make a return trip to Monte Carlo to get the revamped Brooke's Bedroom line off the ground.
Ridge decided to reintroduce the Brooke's Bedroom lingerie line to the Forrester Creations portfolio, despite Brooke and Steffy's protests. Brooke didn't think a grandmother should be modeling lingerie, but Ridge felt otherwise. It seems he gets his wish if the Forresters are making an overseas trip for a relaunch.
Arnold's scenes turn comical when a frazzled Steffy can't find her passport before boarding the plane.
"One thing that is true is you have a window to land at the airport. And if you mess around and you're late, you will miss that [window]," Arnold told US Weekly. "I like when there's some reality to this stuff. It heightened the scene because Steffy forgot her passport. You expect [the drama] for a character, but it opens the doors for some hilarious stuff. It's very funny because things are so dramatic that it lends itself to comedy."
Arnold admitted that things became a little slapstick along the way, and he referenced a legendary comedienne with his description.
"[Jacqueline] had to do some Lucy stuff with the comedy, ripping stuff out of her bag," he said. "It's not easy when you have props and you have to do this and this, but it worked."
While we now know that the Forresters are headed back to Europe, there is no word whether the soap will be doing one of its signature location-shoot fashion shows. The last time B&B went to Monte Carlo was in 2022, when Steffy was reunited with a presumed-dead Finn.
