The Bold and the Beautiful fans are fearing for their favorite pairs. Now that Steffy shot Sheila, Finn is in mourning over his mother's death, and Hope is the friend that Finn needs right now, both "Sinn" and "Thope" could be in peril, but are they?
Actor Tanner Novlan appeared on Bold Live, the YouTube show hosted by Supervising Producer Casey Kasprzyk to discuss this shocking turn of events that left Finn dipping his hands in the pool of Sheila's blood and running off, leaving Steffy in the lurch to deal with the police.
Some fans were stunned that Finn would do such a thing after Sheila shot him and Steffy two years ago and left them for dead. Even Novlan was surprised Finn did that, especially when he didn't have such a visceral reaction when Sheila supposedly perished at the claws of a bear in 2022.
"His wife was involved. It was gruesome. There was the blood on the floor, and I think he's in a lot of shock right now and a lot of trauma," Novlan explained, while pointing out that Finn knew Steffy acted in self-defense. "But for him to walk out on Steffy, for me reading that, I was like, that's a very strong reaction. There's a lot to unpack here. It's going to be interesting the next couple of weeks."
After Finn bolted from the beach house, he turned up at Sheila and Deacon's apartment, which is where Hope found him and offered him a set of arms and kind words. That left both Sinn and Thope fans reeling and wondering if something more could happen between Finn and Hope that would leave Steffy and Thomas without the people they love.
When a fan asked Novlan if Hope and Finn would end up together, he seemed surprised by the question.
"Hope is pretty preoccupied," he said, with Kaspyzyk stressing that Hope is with Thomas now.
Novlan then echoed the producer's sentiment. "What about Thomas? He'd have to battle Thomas, and that might be a mountain to climb," Novlan said. "Finn just needs someone to talk to. That relationship seems pretty platonic to me."
That statement makes it seem like Thomas and Hope's romance is safe for now, but you never know what happens on a soap.
