Brace yourselves, The Bold and the Beautiful fans, because there's no doubt at all now that the CBS soap opera has something momentous in the works that's going to leave audiences absolutely gobsmacked.
B&B supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk has been toying with fans by giving excruciatingly coy teases about something big heading down the pipeline -- material that he says will change the show forever. He's at it again, and this time, he promises that he is not blowing the shock factor of this storyline out of proportion.
During the latest episode of his video podcast Bold Live, Kasprzyk teases that he's über excited about what's ahead in about two months' time -- both as a producer of the show as well as a fan of B&B.
"All I'm saying is it's big," he reveals. "I'm really promising!"
But how big? "Bigger than Sheila showing up," he says, referencing the OMG moment in 2017 when the baddie reappeared on B&B after having been killed on The Young and the Restless.
And, according to Kasprzyk, it's even bigger than the episode in which it was revealed that Maya (Karla Mosley) was transgender!
"This is good. I'm excited," he teases, adding, "This is [executive producer and head writer] Brad Bell at his best!"
Kasprzyk hasn't yet revealed which characters will be involved with this massively important storyline, but he does hint that it might not please everyone.
"I'm not saying that people won't be upset," he reveals. "You know how it goes here!"
