Real life has enough drama right now, so The Bold and the Beautiful's Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) is going to put all of her focus on the scripted kind for the time being. The actress has decided not to return for the next season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Bravo confirmed the news with the message, "She's bold, beautiful, and saying goodbye to Bravo, Bravo, Bravo. Thank you @deniserichards for two amazing seasons of #RHOBH."
A rep for Richards also confirmed the news to Variety but did not offer any additional information as to why the actress has quit the Bravo reality series. Some fans speculate that her departure is due to exhaustion after having to fend off the entire Real Housewives cast in season ten, while others speculate that she was just too busy to keep juggling the Bravo series with The Bold and the Beautiful and her other projects.
As Soap Central previously reported, Richards recently launched a skincare line and flew to Spain to continue filming the television series Glow and Darkness, in which she plays the real-life medieval princess Marie of France, Countess of Champagne. She is also currently involved in a front-burner B&B storyline in which her character is part of a complicated love triangle with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). (To read more about that, check out the B&B fall preview here.)
Denise first joined RHOBH in season nine, and most viewers loved getting to know the person behind her iconic movie and TV roles, as well as her family, which includes husband Aaron Phypers and daughters Sami, Lola, and Eloise. Viewers even got to watch Richards and Phypers' wedding during season nine.
