The Bold and the Beautiful star Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) has his hands full with the new daughter he and wife Kelly Kruger (ex-Mackenzie Browning, The Young and the Restless) welcomed this September, but that isn't stopping the busy dad from standing up for other children this holiday season.
The actor recently joined ChiPs For Kids Toy Drive [an organization by the California Highway Patrol] to help spread the word on how people in the state can donate Christmas gifts to children who are less fortunate.
"I'm heeerreeee!! And we brought TOYS!!!!" Brooks tweeted upon his arrival at this week's toy drive. "Happy Holidays everyone! And thank you @CBSLA @cbs2kcal9brk #CHiPsForKids and @CHPsouthern for such a great time and great cause!!!"

The actor was also featured on a CBS2 news program about the CHiPs toy drive, where he explained that B&B has been donating presents and toys to the organization for over 15 years.
"It's such a great cause to the underserved communities," he says. "When you donate these presents and toys to different CHiPs affiliates, it goes to those communities, so it feels more personal. You feel like you're helping your neighbor."

As for becoming a new dad, Brooks reports that he is over the moon about the arrival of his and Kruger's little one.
"Everyone always says, 'your whole life changes and she's gonna be the apple of your eye and a daddy's girl,' but it's true," he says. "When she came out, I looked at her and that was it! She's just amazing, and to think that we made her is just surreal. She's half Kelly -- hopefully with more of Kelly's qualities -- and half me."
