Actor Todd McKee is making a return to The Bold and the Beautiful in the shoes of Jake Maclaine, a role he originated back in the 90s.
The CBS soap opera is remaining mum about the circumstances that bring Jake back into the fold, and there are a million different reasons why the character is making a blast-from-the-past return. Not only is Jake romantically linked to several B&B women, including Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), Felicia Forrester (Colleen Dion-Scotti and Leslie Kay), and Macy Alexander (Bobbie Eakes), but he's also been a notorious helper for the soap's bounty of fashion shows.
As B&B fans may recall, Jake began working at Forrester Creations back in 2007, doing technical work and production for the fictional company's various fashion shows and press events. Jake returned to the series for a handful of episodes in 2016, first coordinating a Forrester fashion show and then helping dig a huge heart in the sand as part of Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) attempt to win back Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Jake's most recent appearance happened in July of 2018, when he came onto the canvas to help with the Hope for the Future fashion show.
In addition to his time on B&B, McKee is known to daytime fans for his long stint as Santa Barbara character Ted Capwell, which he played from the soap's premiere in 1984 until 1989. His other credits include Melrose Place, 7th Heaven, and CSI.
To find out what brings McKee's Jake back to B&B this time around, be sure to watch his appearances on Wednesday, November 6, and Thursday, November 7.
