Longtime performer Tisha Campbell has a lengthy and accomplished résumé, but her latest role on The Bold and the Beautiful is giving the actress a run for her money.
Bossip reports that the Oklahoma native will be appearing as a character named Dr. Davis on the CBS soap opera beginning Friday, October 4, and she exclaims that the guest-starring role is quite the challenge.
"This genre ain't no JOKE!" she declares on Instagram. "I've never done a soap opera before and they work HARD on this set, you hear me? Every one of them BOLD, BEAUTIFUL and are SWEETHEARTS to work with!"
Campbell is best known for her role as Gina on the classic FOX sitcom Martin, but her credits include many major primetime series like Empire, My Wife and Kids, Everybody Hates Chris, The Protector, Dr. Ken, Rita Rocks, and Legends of Chamberlain Heights. She has also appeared in the films Little Shop of Horrors, School Daze, Boomerang, and the House Party movie franchise.
Campbell began filming Dr. Davis on September 11, with B&B giving her a warm welcome via Twitter.
