The Bold and the Beautiful's Karla Mosley (Maya Avant; ex-Christina Moore Boudreau, Guiding Light) is used to the spotlight, having been the center of attention for the past several years as the star of her series' provocative transgender storyline. But now she's the center of attention for an entirely different reason: she's pregnant with her first baby.
The actress is making headlines for the news, having reportedly shown off her baby bump at the recent GLAAD Awards, where B&B won its third consecutive award for its Maya-centric storyline.
"We are bleary eyed just back from the desert, but it seems the secret is out," Mosley posted on Instagram along with more photos of her teeny, tiny baby bump. "We are extremely grateful for the well wishes as we wait to meet our sweet little nugget this summer!"
The new bundle of joy will be Mosley and boyfriend John Rogers' first child together.
At this time, it's unclear how B&B will handle Mosley's pregnancy. It's possible that Maya, a transgender woman, might not be seen on-screen as much, but, more than likely, Maya will spend several months behind very large purses or potted plants, or seated at tables.
