The Bold and the Beautiful's Anna Maria Horsford (Vivienne Avant) has won the hearts of daytime fans, but it seems she has won over Los Angeles' Special Needs Network, as well.
The actress attended last night's Evening Under the Stars (also known as #EUS12Gala) and is proud to announce that the organization honored her with this year's Vanguard Award.

Special Needs Network is California's leading organization championing awareness and fundraising for people with special needs and autism. SNN's mission is: "to raise public awareness of developmental disabilities and to impact public policy, while providing education and resources to families, children and adults. SNN serves as a link between under-served communities and mainstream developmental disability organizations and governmental institutions, which often fail to address issues specific to these communities. SNN firmly believes that dignity, hope and opportunity are the birthright of all children."
This year's Evening Under the Stars gala, held at the African American Museum, raised nearly $300,000. Grammy-winning artist Macy Gray both performed and made a significant donation of $10,000.
Meanwhile, for fans who just can't get enough of Horsford on-screen, the actress teases that she stars in the upcoming film Gladys Brown, a dark comedic short about a long-suffering assistant seeking revenge after being cheated out of her dream promotion.
