The Bold and the Beautiful is heating things up for the summer with the addition of Sex and the City and Devious Maids actor Gilles Marini.
The French-American actor is joining the CBS soap for a "pivotal guest arc" as a doctor who has to unexpectedly treat a character in Monaco, ET reports. He'll be appearing in two episodes beginning Friday, July 28.
Other things viewers can look forward to during Marini's stint include characters traveling to Monte Carlo for the annual Spencer Summit and a swimwear fashion show challenge that pits the Spectra and Forrester fashion houses against each other.
Keen soap fans may already recognize Marini; the actor previously appeared on B&B in 2005 and 2007 for one-episode stints as other characters, and he made a brief appearance as an Italian bicycle rider on Passions back in 2006.
In addition to his short soap gigs, he has appeared on Brothers and Sisters, Ugly Betty, Dirty Sexy Money, Two Broke Girls, and Switched at Birth, among others. He also competed in seasons eight and fifteen of Dancing With the Stars.
