When The Bold and the Beautiful alum Kim Matula (ex-Hope Logan) booked a film with a very steamy not-safe-for-work love scene shortly after leaving the CBS soap, fans worried about what her career had in store. But it looks like the actress has landed on her feet, after all.
Deadline reports that Matula has booked a series regular role on the FOX ensemble comedy LA → Vegas, set on the Friday night flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and the returning flight on Sunday. The actress will play the role of head flight attendant Ronnie opposite series star Dylan McDermott.
"It's official!!! I am beyond excited to join the new @foxtv comedy pilot 'LA to Vegas' as Ronnie the flight attendant," Matula wrote on Instagram about the show that follows "underdogs trying to find their place in the world who all share the same goal: to come back a winner in the casino of life."
After opting out of her B&B contract in 2014, Matula went on to star in Lifetime's UnREAL and is currently filming Fighting with My Family.
UPDATE (October 30, 2017): FOX has officially picked up LA ? Vegas, and Matula took to Instagram with details about when fans can catch her on the fly: "Prepare for departure!" she teased. "#LAtoVegas, service begins this January on FOX."
