The multi-talented Alan Thicke will return to The Bold and the Beautiful next month, reprising his role as controversial talk show host Rich Ginger.
Thicke first appeared on B&B in August 2006 as the talk show host. His hosting style surprised Donna Logan, who appeared on the show after being signed as the spokesmodel for Forrester Creations. This time around, Rich Ginger is back on the scene with two new guests on his show -- Stephanie and Phoebe Forrester. The duo appears on his show to promote Forrester Originals' newest product.
Thicke may be known best for his role as Dr. Jason Seaver on the 80s family sitcom, Growing Pains. His gig on The Bold and the Beautiful isn't that much of a stretch for the actor; he has previously hosted his own talk and entertainment shows Thicke of the Night and The Alan Thicke Show. What television viewers may not know is that Thicke scored the themes to numerous hit television shows with his former wife, Gloria Loring. Some of his familiar tunes include the themes to The Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes and Wheel of Fortune.
Thicke is also the father of pop-slash-R&B singer Robin Thicke.
Alan Thicke returns to B&B on August 6th.
