Gladis Jimenez (ex-Carmen, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex Ramona, The Young and the Restless) is expecting her first child in August. Jimenez will reportedly name the child, a girl, Simone Andrea Kanan.
If the surname looks familiar, it's because it's the name shared by Jimenez's former co-star, Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe; ex-AJ Quartermaine, General Hospital). According to a spokesperson for Kanan, Kanan and Jimenez were an item at one time, but have since split. "He will actively participate in the upbringing of his unborn child if it is determined that he is the biological father," the spokesperson stated.
